Wanna know what annoys me about Cantr?

Drying meat. And the fact that you need to load up multiple drying racks in order for it to be really worth anything.

Drying meat was nerfed because it was giving free food to feed several people for several days.

Yes, I know. It annoys me when people disregard that fact and put a tight monopoly on all the drying racks in the town for drying meat though.

I never dry meat. Seems a waste of resources to me. You make 50 grams a day and eat fifty grams a day? You cant get ahead. I had a character in the past disassemble a drying rack to get the wood to actually cook the meat in order to have something to eat to make it to another town instead of wasting the meat and time. I know this is wrong in the eyes of some but he was desperate for food and knew that by drying the meat he would just break even.

What annoys me in/about Cantr:
-when you get newspawns who don't bother to read the guides, when I joined I read every single thing there was, mainly to fit in. Yet there seem to be waves and waves of new people with newspawns who neglect to read and just cause huge inconveniences.
-when you get newspawns who act like they know everything and believe they are owed the world and not in an intentional roleplaying way
-when you get newspawns who act like they are leaders in an established town, giving permissions for machines and such.

Off my newspawn rant other annoyances are:
-the lack of grief for close ones who die or failed relationships. I mean where's the depression or depressed feelings, or drinking yourself silly?! Instead they just grab the nearest man/woman and that's their next relationship!
-also the over compensating empathy shown by others which is nearly always short lived when the person attempts to stay unhappy past a day or so.

I was a newspawn that played and didn't read anything really. The Stone Knights could attest to that. I don't recall if the person who referred me to the game told me I should. :)

What about long lasting empathy that's not short lived? Is that annoying? :D

I get annoyed by the characters who bend over backwards to make absolute nut-job characters feel loved and welcomed. In real life you'd be high tailing it away from those guys, or hoping they leave town as quick as possible. Don't get me wrong, I like the quirky characters, but the complete whack jobs, come on. Quit trying to hug them back to sanity.

Cantr's success as a society simulator, as evidenced by the clueless incompetence and uselessness of most everyone around my characters, is really annoying me lately. Even the locations that appear to have some form of functional, productive society collapse into little more than a doll's tea party and various other expressions of masturbatory frivolity once that one key player's character that's actually masterminding the whole ruse leaves on a task that apparently can't be delegated to the rabble.

Tweedle-Dum: We have lots of iron sitting here on the floor but Leader is on vacation. She's gone to get healing food.

Tweedle-Dum: Can you braid my hair for me?

Tweedle-Dee: But I just braided your hair yesterday.
Tweedle-Dum: I know, but went all out of place when we... *blushes*

Tweedle-Dee: *giggles and walks inside*

That it's pretty much impossible to be an assassin because having keys or groups of people are a necessity to actually kill someone unless they are sleepy.

What would you (personally IRL) do if you were in coma for 10 years and then woke up? :)
