Heard this song again today, the latest of probably hundreds of times, and I finally listened to the words, and realized it's PERFECT for one of my characters:

He promised her a song. This is the one in his heart. Not sure what will come out by the time it's been filtered through his mind and hand.

Going for a ride
My best friend and I
I wink and give her a smile;

Pointed shades
The wind on my face
I light a cigarette...

Engine is roaring and
Roads are steaming
Hearts are glowing
Freedom is forever
Angels cannot fall
And Devils won't be caught

We relax in the sunshine with a six-pack by my side... then we go back to the motel and have a laugh till our journey starts again; just smoke my weed and relax...

I think it kinda hurt him, when I said
Johnny, there's a lot that I don't know
But don't you ever dream
About a life where corn don't grow?

He just sat there silent,
Staring in his favorite brandy stein
I saw a storm of mixed emotion
In his eyes when he looked up.

He said, doll I know at your age it feels
Like this old world is turning slow
And you think you'll find the answer
To it all where corn don't grow,

But hard times are real
There's dusty fields no matter where you go
You may change your mind
Cause the weeds are high where corn don't grow.

I have different playlists for different moods. On one char, It would be the Screw All type of music. another, Dramatic music that builds tension, and another? Classical. because it's classical. Thank is all.

Dimitrius & Renaki of Zuzi, he almost learnt guitar to sing a modified version to her, but I can't do that.. so this will have to do..

For my withering flower...

Cherry Ghost - People Help The People
God knows what is hiding in that weak and drunken heart
I guess you kissed the girls and made them cry
Those hard faced queens of misadventure
God knows what is hiding in those weak and sunken eyes
a fiery throng of muted angels
Giving love and getting nothing back

People help the people
And if you're homesick, give me your hand and I'll hold it
People help the people
And nothing will drag you down
Oh and if I had a brain, oh and if I had a brain
I'd be cold as a stone and rich as the fool
That turned, all those good hearts away

God knows what is hiding, in that world of little consequence
Behind the tears, inside the lies
A thousand slowly dying sunsets
God knows what is hiding in those weak and drunken hearts
I guess the loneliness came knocking
No one needs to be alone, oh save me.

"She could make something sound stupid just by hearing it.”
"For a short moment there, you almost sounded human."

Where the truth lies. (Exchange)

A whisper in my ear
A voice so strong and clear

Upon this beach I see
A million grains of sand

And I believe we are destined
Bound to survive against all odds

Out where the truth lies,
I will follow
Out beyond this barren surround
I cry without a sound
Out where the truth lies,
I will follow my eyes into the sun

Sometimes I lie awake
I dream of everyone
Who walked the path I take

Who ran beneath the sun
And I believe it's my destiny
Bound to survive against all odds

Out where the truth lies,
I will follow
Out beyond this barren surround
I cry without a sound
Out where the truth lies,
I will follow my eyes into the sun

And I believe we are destined
Bound to survive against all odds

Out where the truth lies,
I will follow
Out beyond this barren surround
I cry without a sound
Out where the truth lies,
I will follow my eyes into the sun

Out where the stones lay like bones by the ocean
Out where the waves crash contempt on the land
Someone was trembling for fear of the tempest
Somebody silently reached for their hand
Said, understand that if you're cold I'll keep you warm
And besides, there's so much beauty in a storm
So come down with me to the shore
And what's more, I adore you
So tell me, what is there to fear
You think some seraph up above is trying to rob us of our love
Because the sky's not clear
My dear, you know there's not
Now listen to the rain upon the rooftop
But the wind picked up

Out where the stones stand up like thrones beside the ocean
Out where the waves make a grave of the sea
The lovers struggled in the middle of the tempest
And water angrily crawled up onto the beach
Said, hold my hand and stay with me
We'll be released
But the tide clung like an anchor to her feet
And though he tried to make the water line recede
It pulled her out into the sea
He could not break apart the waves to bring her safely back in
He watched her hand break through the surface once
Then disappear again
Forever wait inside the sea for me, my dear
I hear you
You speak in every curling wave
And sing in every violent breeze
Someday not far away from here
My dear, I swear I'll see you
And we will hear the seraphs cry
For they will still envy you and I
How they envied you and I
How they envied you and I
How they envied you and I
You speak in every curling wave and sing in every violent breeze.

The poop thief.

Well, you'd think the local farmers would know that I'm at large
But just the other day I found an unprotected barge
I snuck up right behind them and they were none the wiser,
I rammed their ship and sank it and I stole their fertilizer!

The sinner.

I want to hurt you just to hear you screaming my name!

The wicked.

Despite my obvious display of defect
had somehow lured him here.
...So there was no danger of some chance intruder
to doubt his manliness and strength
then suddenly his words grew gentler,
and his gestures slightly changed.

The inconvenient.

[insert some pretendedly innocent whistling here]

The cursed temperance.

The first 50 seconds of this is the music that plays in my head whenever anyone in thigh high boots struts past...

Today I keep on listening : Celtic Woman - Siuil A Run (Walk My Love). Celtic music is good with greens :)
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.
