Seastone! I like it because of Grago and Tarquin. They are the heart of this village.

Love Jakara! Probably one of the best small towns on the map. Good mix of characters.

Jakara for sure is a great town, even though now it's a bit upside down. ;)

In reply to Zuzi.....I can't stand that place anymore to be honest. Last few I've had there have had to leave out of frustration, or I've just killed off. There's too much fantasy based rp there for my liking. These days there's too many visions and possessions and other things going on that just to me border on fantasy that shouldn't be in the game

As for my favorite towns, I'd have to list

Blackrock forest
Brunoi hills west (though it's fairly quiet right now)

It's the home base of a major Cantr religion. Religion is part of society. Whether or not what goes on there is "real" or just an assembly of crazies is of course up to the individuals to decide in character.

So, my point is, you're free to not like the place because of what goes on there, but to say it doesn't belong in the game is simply untrue. Even the most hard-core atheist would never deny the power religion has to move societies and civilizations. In fact, that's why most rail against it. The game needs more religion, not less.

I agree, I didn't like Zuzi too much, too. But that's because my char just didn't seem to get in to what happened. Then, it's mainly a lot of blablabla :P. I think it could be very nice if your char -does- fit in.

I have no problem with the characters BELIEVING them as being possessed or seeing visions. I have a problem with them basing itas fact as it happened in character or physical changes for such visions happen to the character themselves. It is not "untrue", my OPINION just differs from yours. I find it to fantasy based and stand by my opinion that it doesn't belong in game. But that is MY opinion of it. As I stated before TO ME...it does not belong in game.

I love the religion based in Zuzi, I love the fact that they are religious and they have their beliefs and it's extended as far as it has. I have a problem with the visions and possessions and physical character changes because of them. And it become something rather than one person having them every so often....it's all the time and character after character started having them and it became less about the religion and more about the characters themselves. And what I have seen inthe last several years of being there, it has started feeling more like it was more about who can get more attention out of it, than focusing on the religion aspect and the reason for it.

I guess neither of my visits in Zuzi were long enough to see any of this go down. Maybe my char needs to have a major craving for papayas and check it out.

I can't say I've seen much mention of the religion at all in the time that I was there, but I'm sure I missed all of it.

I agree with Doug on whether or not it belongs in the game, but i absolutely understand why you feel the way you do. If I was you and saw characters having visions left and right I might feel the same way, but I don't think it should leave the game. Those events can lead to much more interesting things if left to.

Overall Zuzi to me has many elements I'd like to see in other big towns. Religion, government, history, opportunity, and a varied cast of characters who live there that make it that much more interesting.

Actually one of the things I like for MOST(!!) things that happen in Zuzi is that it -could- be that the people involved are just crazy. Going blind or deaf could have psychological causes. Or of course, you could try to catch a coconut with your head and become somewhat less normal after that. Nearly all the things happening there can be explained by religion, but also without it. (Although, agreed... There is a unusually large concentration of weird stuff happening there.)

And by no means am I saying anyone there is a bad player or bad rp, I'm just saying my opinion is the whole town's full of nutcases. lol

I guess that's really my point or what drew me away from it all. It's too MUCH going on at once, too many trying to do it so that it's not so "different' when it happens. My last few characters that have come through and gotten an interest in the religion were quickly turned off because the whole group is just a bunch of nutcases. (in their opinions). And because there's so much of it going on, it's just too much, it's like everyone is trying to outdo the others. So it makes it frustrating and uninteresting to even try with the religion there.

^^ Mitch and I once had characters that fought over a dead squirrel. No nuts were harmed. :P

I love Zuzi. I only wish more locations were as interesting.
