You know, something I loved about Cantr that I didn't even realize immediately was the comparison I made to the TES game. Now when I'm playing a new TES game or an old one I'll always wonder what other places are like... Example, while I was playing Morrowind I found a guy that went to Morrowind from Skyrim and died and found a note about his home or w/e and was curious what was going on there only to realize I couldn't go there which dashed my excitement for a while.

In Cantr that exact same scenario can happen but you can actually visit those places, there's plots everywhere that you don't know about immediately (unless you have another char in that area and even then you can't use that knowledge on the char you do have) but even still it's that adventure into the unknown, into the dark depths of foreign and strange lands that have strange customs and people. It's the being able to inform the persons loved ones of their passing or take them back to safety if the want arises, it's something I didn't immediately notice like I said but the more I play the more open I realize the game is and even then it adds a new depth to the game knowing everyone are real people.

In the end you get a new experience every time and that's another reason I want death to older charries to eventually come into play, I know a lot of folks may not like that idea but I think as a community we really should discuss the potential in it, no fighting, no arguing, no polling or votes, just a forum discussion on the topic and maybe try to open up more doors within our own bounds because that's another thing Cantr is good about and that's letting the players decide their own destiny, whether its a implemented feature or an in game trilogy of your life up until death and if we as players can't communicate these ideas peacefully then this game won't meet it's full potential.

So again for those who hate reading long posts I'll shorten it for you, the things I love about Cantr.

-The openness, not only in the game but also within the community and our discussions that may have or may have not happened yet.

-The original characters (which could be more varied if we added in death by old age system) and the stories they create on their own and those you create or run across that others have been building on.

-The unique locations and customs of each and every character within the game that add a extra feel of attachment to the world.

And finally

-The simple fact that real people are playing what would be replaced by NPC's in any other game, it adds realism of sorts and not the repeat lines and actions of characters, sometimes things can get real crazy real fast just from the slight of hand that the character decided to take.

There is so much more potential beauty this game can show but it's up to us as a community to come together and work hard to find solutions to bring out that beauty, whether it be deeper stories or just more in depth game play or radically changed gameplay, but that's the point, its up to us and that's something we should be thanking the devs of this game for.
