I started wondering how many characters actually have an occupation.

Here's mine:

Land traveler/Trader
Land traveler/Drifter
Sailor/Scavenger/Leisure
Sailor/Explorer/Leisure
Sailor/Trader
Sailor/Resource runner
Town leader 2
Brewer
Settler
Tailor
Not-so-sad panda

Take a "steady state" approach: To start new, you need to kill one off.

Most of my characters end up as smiths. It's a job that has to be done in every town and lacks the RP potential of tailoring and cooking. Perfect for my slightly dull, hard working characters.
