Isabella/Menvra
doubtful anybody really remembers her except maybe those who were there when she died and maybe some people I've talked with OOCly about them, but anyway.
A failure of a character that probably shouldn't have survived as long as she did. She had some good moments though. The Hatchet song comes to mind.

Danyel Sidewinder
Wasn't sure where else to ask this, but I'm really hoping someone might have saved or have access to the stories Danyel wrote while he was alive. I never saved them and was getting a little nostalgic today, made a forum account just for this purpose.
He is probably just about the only character I wish I hadn't killed off, and that was over a year ago I believe. Haha.
Edit: I have two of them now, but there were a couple others I believe.

One of my characters does. If you are interested in a copy/paste of the stories it has, then PM me.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
Well, thought I'd have one to add here, but a sprained knee in RL and an off-hand IC comment kept the name off the list for now. Funny how life can twist things about when you least expect it.

3. Erika Berger
Spawned in Dom Hofran. Loved Dom Hofran. Lived for Dom Hofran. She was a stubborn woman but her connection with the town was for all to see. Several problems came and went. Zee, Kelthian, Danny, Pinta.... They all caused troubles and gave her both joy and pain, ending for her to be a well grown-up char. She managed to grow in the Rangers and made it to Master Ranger, a title she wore with pride and until a little missy known as Lia Varg decided to rock her world her future was boring but certain, and she was content with it.
Lia was a reckless one, when she got bored and Erika slept she ran off into the wild and decided she'd be able to fight off the elephants... Not. She was already halfway when Erika got to her and pulled her away from the murderous beasts. After that... Ups and downs, the friendship and a strange love for Lia caused her to lose concentration concerning the Rangers, and her duties were not fulfilled as they should be... In the end she took a leave of absence to travel with Lia on her inherited ship. When they were in a bath together and Lia suddenly died in front of her... Her own gave out, shocked and darkened, yet with an eternal love for those Hofran Rangers.
Henkie
My Rose (Langley) always felt grateful to Erika for having helped her move from the place she spawned to Dom Hofran. I did think she was a bit manly, though, so glad to see that it was a guy who played her.

Kotra Kamon would be rolling over in his grave knowing Liviana is dead.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
It's been over 4 days so joining this list is Jaina Valjean, as I'm pretty sure most people couldn't help not to notice on the radio. The last days were great and made it all worthwhile. She had always hoped to die in battle, defending her town, but dying peacefully in old age surrounded by friends is certainly the next best option. I just realized she died on her spawnday, 179 years old exactly. That wasn't planned. I hope no one messes with the temple and lets it remain a holy place. She once visited another temple and it still had offerings on the floor.
I'd been hoping I would get to play the oldest character in game one day but not like the remaining couple of players would ever quit. Now I'm ever further from the top 10. At least I'm still in the top 30.

Randall the town arse.
Spawned in Dom Hofran and left after feeling so out of place. Two towns over, he greeted everyone with the word "tossers" and guess what, got away with it (and it didn't stop there, either). I had such laugh playing him (whilst fully aware that it was at the expense of others) and owe a thank you first of all to Jebrez (Randall fell for you hard!) and then to Dante for that. Shame Jeb had to leave and I had no energy to keep it up, but I'll remember that guy always with a grin.

Jebrez left? In what way?

I don't mean he left for good.
He went away to visit an old friend.

This isn't the statistics thread and it would be difficult to do anyway.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I woke up this morning thinking about the characters I lost when my account timed out ages ago. I felt the need to tell their stories to gain the closure they needed, say the things they were afraid to in game.
One died on a boat lost in the middle of nowhere with years since he last saw land. But he didn't care. All that mattered was the hope that he would reunite with the woman he loved and had disrespected and treated so poorly out of false belief she'd always be there. He took her for granted and his heart finally gave out with the realization that she deserved better. Simon Drake
Another died believing she had nothing left to live for. She was certain the man she had loved all her life had abandoned her and found someone else. But, most importantly, she hated herself for abandoning the only friend she'd had since spawning. Time and time again she had chosen her rocky relationship over her best friend and had driven a great chasm between them. She'd alienated the one person who had been there the entire time and helped her through every single separation and she knew it was too late to fix their friendship. Her body wore away when her heart continued to never want to give up. Lillith Caravaggio.
Finally, he died alone. Unsurprising, but eerily self fulfilling prophecy. He'd started out as a new spawn on a coastal town he never gave a second thought to. Ran off and met a woman that told him they were together and eventually, he did grow fond of her and love her. Then he met his best friend, the single constant of his mature life. He gave up his leadership role to be near his best friend when his love passed away. It was the happiest years of his life living in her town. Something about her just resonated perfectly with something about him and they were inseparable. When he died he found himself locked away in his house alone and reflecting over how much he had lost and thinking of all the people he had loved while regretting he couldn't save them. In his misery, his best friend broke in, as always, a mental reminder that she was this one golden, immaculate thing that he
had not ruined and that was the reason for the smile when his heavy heart gave out. Unbeknownst to him, his best friend was herself dying elsewhere nearby. Just as well, they wouldn't have been able to live without each other, something they'd joked about but knew to be true. Sylar Michael Benedikt.

I remember Sylar/Michael, he was nice. I played Ayana who died way earlier.
