There is, but then you get caught up in a terminology war over who is what, what is what, and so on. Think of it like in terms of musical genres having tons of sub-genres. In common mainstream terminology though, 'hackers' is pretty inclusive of anyone and everyone, good or bad.Mr. Bones wrote:People who's sole purpose in life is to hack into people's networks and destroy things.
Fortunately those are the stupid ones who get caught most of the time. Unfortunately, the worse of the bunch (cyber-crime groups, cyber-terrorists) are much more difficult to catch, or even prosecute if caught.
Actually it is very simple. Since the hacker is Polish he falls under Polish jurisdiction and laws. Those say:marol wrote:In Polish law there are two charges possible:
1. Unauthorized access to data, which he obviously did.
2. Unauthorized data damage, alteration or deletion.
So clearly he committed a crime (actually at least two) and thus he is a a criminal hacker.
You were trying to disprove my point by agreeing with what I said? If you go back to reread what I had stated, I wrote that these (this guy) are the easier types to catch/prosecute, but the bigger threats (cyber-crime groups/terrorists) are not.

I think he's probably sleep deprived from working too hard.

Ditto on the thanks, and I am trying so hard to be patient. I've actually worked 8 hours for 2 days in a row, assembled a coffee table, balanced my checkbook, done 3 loads of laundry, and given myself an awfully fancy manicure. I'm ready to get back to the important work of milking domesticated mouflon.

So far:
Dog
Pig
Rabbit (I've only seen him twice. He must be rather rare.)
Not sure what the fourth one is, whether it's some weird raccoon or a ringtail. But still adorably sad.

4. Looks like a lemur to me!
I had to do a few refreshes to find him.
