53 dead bodies in Mianir
We are overwhelmed with dead bodies in Mianir. A new group appears approximately every other day (real time), 4 or 5 at a time. There are no reports of violence that would account for all these deaths -- new people appear in the People menu, and their number stays about the same, and new bodies keep appearing at about the same rate. Our Activities menu is dominated by burials, and we're spending so much time on them that we can barely get anything else done. Help!

I have a character in the Spanish area and I am pretty certain that I did not spawn in Mianir.
In fact, my character and some companions have been wandering around for years finding no hint of civilization so far
Just checked....Kartsjantankin...yep..thats where it was.

Aha. This is the first I'd heard of this ... I thought we still had a fixed set of predefined spawning locations.
Hello, anyone from the staff reading this topic?

Indeed, only English and Dutch areas have spawning systems depending on population density. I only do this for larger language groups.
Spanish has two spawning locations.
I can't really help that Spanish players join and unsubscribe again
... We get quite a few new Spanish players due to someone posting an ad on a Spanish forum (which is a very good thing, of course!), but apparently we have trouble keeping them. There is little I can do, I'm afraid.

Jos, are you sure that these bodies are the result of "normal" subscribing and unsubscribing? I've never heard of this happening anywhere else. The bodies seem to be simply appearing on the ground, already dead, without even showing up on our People menu first.
Earlier today, 952-2 game time, I went through the list of people in Mianir and named all of the unknown people with names like "unknown Mianir 952-2 A," etc. I used letters A through M, meaning that there were 12 unknowns. I then checked the Objects menu for any dead bodies and there were none.
Just now, game time 954-4, I checked again. There are now four new dead bodies in the Objects menu, and none of them are from the group of 12 that I named earlier today. All 12 of those are still alive. As I said, these bodies seem to be simply appearing out of nowhere.
Does the game have some kind of logs you can check, to see whether these bodies are really coming from subscribe-unsubscribes?

Eight more dead bodies just now. Only two of them had first been on the list of People; the other six simply appeared on the Objects list.
There *has* to be a way to program around this. Regardless of why it is happening, Mianir is saddled with a continuing flood of dead bodies. Right now every active player in Mianir is engaged full-time in burying bodies. This is not realistic role-playing. If this can't be fixed, my character will simply abandon Mianir and start building a new town somewhere else, and will recommend to all the other characters that they do the same.
