In the last two months, 2/3 of the characters my favorite character cared about have died. I'm at the point where I think the only reason I'm logging in is guilt. It's really nothing to go a whole day without logging in now and not miss it. I really don't see myself lasting until 2014.

Yeah, I know. That's why I'm posting. I want to be talked out of it. It's just...my lack of enthusiasm translates over to my characters.

Maybe it's time for a brand new character to freshen things up a bit:)

Seriously, though.... don't be a big doofus quitter like me.

Absolutely not. I'm not making any more characters. I promised myself that a while ago, and I'm sticking to it. When this set is done, so am I.

Lemme know who your charries are, and I will hunt them down and make sure they stay alive and make you want to log in everyday because want to. ;)

Should follow mine around for the same reason :p Unfortunately I've a lot less of them now to worry over. I have trouble even waking my older ones now.

You know I'm even considering going back to -that- place to stalk yours to awakeness, right? Maybe the threat would be counter-productive though.
Must admit that each time gets harder to wake up my owns except for a couple of exceptions. Too many big loses lately too.

I must admit I have felt this way as well, so depressed over lost ones and inactivity and general decline. However, then I give it a bit, and my charries are busier than ever and I can't keep up, another one in love, something exciting happening. Just take a pause, clean your house, remember you have family, then before you know it things will pick up and there will be something exciting happening somewhere, someone new and interesting to get to know, even an unwelcome visitor can make things interesing...there's always something, and that's what keeps most of us addicted and coming back. Just don't give up!

Is it sad that I'm not upset that the game is down and all my characters are gone? I feel like I should be, and yet I'm not. I actually cleaned off my dresser today. That never happens. And my desk is next on my list of to-cleans. I would have never done this if Cantr had been up all day.

I don't think it's sad at at, I sort of feel the same way. It's a fun game, but sometimes it's nice to be kept away from it by things you can't control.
