I lost interest in the game and let my characters all die off... I'll miss a lot of them, but my heart wasn't in it anymore. My favorite town deserved a more active leader, I let one of my favorites starve to death due to boredom, and others lost loved ones or any real inspiration to keep going.

Now I'm back! I'm going to keep it to 2-3 characters this time and focus more on them. I do wonder how Omeo (the whole island) is doing and if I somehow made a difference.

I know I haven't really been gone, but I had ear surgery yesterday. fun times were had after the pain meds.

I feel pretty good about recruiting people - I think I've gotten something like three or four people to join up, and I know at least one of them is sticking with it.
Unlike a family member, who (probably) won't make it past the app stage if character names are checked haha.
