In no particular order, here's some groups and towns -

The MacGregors. We may be small (for now), we may be sleepy, but we are the greatest group to have ever existed in Cantr. Our history (even if some of it was dark), our legends, and our future testify to that! I don't speak Scottish Gaelic, but there's a wonderful phrase = Slàinte mhor a h-uile là a chi 's nach fhaic (Great health to you every day that I see you and every day that I don't). We've left our violent and brutal past behind, and become civilised. Now alls we need to do is wake up!

Yeah, but the Blackrocks and MacGregors are very intertwined groups. We're nominating them as whole groups because we can't really separate a couple of members from the group. I've edited the others I put, though.

Well, I did separate out characters from my very intertwined groups, and had to make very difficult choices on who to keep and who to exclude. I guess it's up to masterekat if groups are accepted or not, but given my cranky mood and the amount of work I put into my choices, I see group-lumping as a cop-out. Happy New Year. Ba humbug.

You have a point, although I think rain and whoever Kelna was posting for as well as myself probably weren't able to but thought it would be acceptable. I'll have a think about mine and try to edit it to a few people.

The lists are also supposed to be ranked so that scoring can be done but people aren't doing that. I wouldn't say it's lack of effort but sometimes there isn't a single char that stands out from the crowd. Events happen that involve an entire town without one or two playing a more important role than the others. Or it's simply extreme laziness. Take your pick.

I don't think it's necessary to rank them. It just complicates things. I can't rank mine.

1 nomination = 1 point. Characters get ranked by # of points.

A point system was used before, 1 through 10 each got different points. I am not sure of the system, but 1 got 10 points, 5 got 5 points... 10 got 1 point.... then the points were added...

Yes, I know, but I think it's an over-complication and unnecessary.

I am devoid of opinion on that issue. I think these lists are a mistake since nobody is everywhere and some people just don't post. People from larger cities tend to win and generally a person from a close relationship gets somebodies top spot and the rest of us go "who?" So its flawed... still I have decided nevertheless, to give some credit to those consistent that -I- know and the results of this master list will not affect any one players choice of whom they prefer to rp with... thus the many possibilities of cantr.

Lux Lager- intelligent, capable of following along in any diversion from subject without blinking.
Crow- Only two guys on the list? One of these days we will re-invent haggis and scotch
Sam Roset- Intelligent, modest, feisty,… yet mature.
Sevana- Funny, cute, supportive and sometimes sleepy… a treat when she is awake.
Lucretia-consistently annoying, always stays in character, and rarely shows off that warm heart of hers.
Elora-refreshing honesty and sensuality
Faith Crows-Its been a long year and he still feels the effect. Happy now, but always guilty.
Wonder- Been a bit more quiet lately, but he is still the caped super-hero.
Mona Marie- Heartbreaker in one way, doting mom in the next. Consistently caring.
Marlie Sunrise- A real consistent pain in the tail… -too- consistent.
Naedell Blackrock- honorable mention for the softening queen
