I really, really wish I could have kept up with it. I was too stubborn to read the rune descriptions verbatim from the book. I thought it was cheesy. I should have just done so and made my life easier instead of giving up on it.

I had a character get a reading from the old woman in the mountains and a character hang around the Blackrock version. Both very fun and interesting. Got to give props to someone that can leave a note all around the world, saying come to the mountains for a reading... and I did it.

I've been thinking a little more about your story, Doug. The thing that strikes me most about it is that it doesn't happen very often that players tell the story of their characters after they're gone. Obviously we can't tell a complete story while they are alive due to the 4 day rule and CRB risk and all that.... but we really lose out on a lot of cantr history by not recording it through our characters.

Not that it's easy of course. I really admire those who have the foresight to keep some kind of record or even make the effort to tell the story. I wish I had taken the time to do that for a few of my old characters, not that they were necessarily that significant in the outcome of events, but because they had their own perspectives on the experience. Anyway... I'm going to make an effort to do better this time.

I'm not sure why I was moved to write that. She really was a burden, and I was glad to be rid of her. I think she was just so misunderstood by everyone, that I needed to put her whole story out there. I guess it's a bit sad that, for a 95 year old, that really was her whole story. For my second oldest, I'd need at least ten pages, if not more.

I kick myself for letting Germ starve, I meant to write of the history (downfall) of Blojt, 1000 days of Blojt, I didn't even get started. :(

I'd be interested in reading that if you ever get around to writing it. Even if it's just the key points.

I have the turn reports from quite some time to refresh my memory, so I'll eventually get it done.

There's nothing worse than reading through turn reports. It's terribly tedious.

:( I know for sure, she is being mourned. Maybe not by others, but I know by mine.

Ever have a scene that reminded you of another scene with a past character that brought you to tears just because of the fondness you had for the characters...
Somehow you strayed and lost your way,
and now there'll be no time to play,
no time for joy,
no time for friends
- not even time to make amends.
You are too naïve if you do believe life is innocent laughter and fun.

It's a shame that Olga died, and Joseph doesn't know yet, but he will be sad to hear about her death (Alex, on the other hand, if he was still alive, would probably be pretending to care but would secretly be overjoyed).

Tal
Haden
The pinnacle of good citizen. They were capable of uttering almost only 2 sentences:
- Hello, how is it going?
- Hello, what project should I work on?
Of course they were working on projects pointed, without pain or tiredness.
Sadly, the town overseers failed to feed them :(

Should've started taking initiative and getting food for themselves.

They don't get food. They finish projects. They don't know why, they just do. Then they get an iron weapon as a payback and they wonder why they wanted it in the first place. Soon they understand finishing projects just gives them objects they have no use for and they stop moving. They stop finishing projects. A few hunts here, a *smiles* there but eventually the town leaders stops giving them food. And then they die, unfortunately without ever finishing their first project called "Cantrian Life". I call them, untrue Cantrians.
