it's just a farming community, earth has had those for ages, sometimes they just get left along liging the agrarian lifestyle, other times... ya they get conquered and slave over the land they once owned. cantr in many ways mirrors earth in varying time frames. enjoy :P

Sure, but perhaps for slightly too long, it has been mirroring slightly too boring time frames? :D

Is it wrong? No, it's just a freedom of playstyle in action.

Would I like to play a character in such a community? I guess it depends... but for most cases it would be OMGWTFRunForYourLife kind of a reaction.

I have used this phrase many times in the past ten years in game when possible drama might arise... I said, "It's better than farming potatoes all our lives and having nothing better to talk about". Some days we all want to just get along and collect food together. Other days (or characters) we need more excitement, more conflict. Potato paradise is great for all those free form role players that are into interpersonal relationships that revolve around spuds but that can only keep your attention (as a player) so long.

Honestly, I see no meaning or goals in potato paradise characters. I've been forced into some and I've always made sure I either changed the way the location was or just left the place.

I have a character who is dreaming about finding a potato paradise. Some time, somewhere... :?
