They're plain geweldig(?). They're kind of replacing Amon Amarth as my favy metal band... I must be getting softer or changing genres.
And, as opposite to Dageraad...

What!?! You can't seriously abandon the Swedish metal scene like that? All (no not seriously) good metal comes from Sweden. :)

Now I feel guilty of cheating on the Swedish Vikings  But still I'm re-discovering Heidevolk and I'm so very much in love with them, more than ever.
And totally: Amon Amarth, Opeth, Therion and Bathory (no idea if there's more Swedish bands among my favs)... Swedish sure know how to make it awesome!! But Finnish have their piece of the cake too: Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Stratovarius... Well, the North rocks!

And in other order of things...

Unpardonable! I used to choose them quite a lot for my "I am-ing", besides.

In Flames, At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, Entombed, Dark Funeral, Dismember, Nihilist, Eucharist, Soilwork, Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Scar Symmetry, The Duskfall, Cipher System, Dead by April, Amaranthe, Arise, Avatar, Zonaria, Sonic Syndicate, Dimension Zero, Dissection or The Haunted maybe? Take your pick. :)

(And this was only the black/melodic scene, there are hundreds of other metal bands around.)

Damn, you just listed like nearly half of my favourite metal groups! :D

And weirdly enough, I'm in an Enya mood today. "Caribbean Blue"

Still Amon Amarth are top of my list, Echo  I didn't know In Flames were Swedish, and for the rest... I don't think I know them, but I adore this kind of homeworks XD
