a d3000, can you even read the numbers or do you just say that some number between 150-250 is on the top.

Its a 28inch dice so with a magnifying glass I can read the numbers, we put fluid inside so the top number gets a coloured mark over it. It was made after somebody exaggerated their mage's damage ablity.

Oh that's awesome. I wonder what the record is for the most sided die?

when gambling is put in the game everyone is going to have a crazy gambler... so just like when something else is made everyone rushes to it, this might be a fun one though..

Well I would be very poor if it weren't for the tourists that Atlantic City brings down to my region. I mean Southern Newjersey isn't very big in the way of industry. We are pretty much the complete opposite of our northern counterpart.

So, I say hurray for gambling.

When rolling two six-sided die the chances of getting a the number 2 is 1/11. The chances of getting three is 1/11. And hey guess what: The chances of getting a 12 are 1/11!

Where the different values come in are were you are trying to get a number in a specific way: "What are the chances of getting a 5 and a 2 in that order?" the answer is 1/32.
The chances of getting a (5 and 2) or (2 and 5) are different again.
the answer is 1/16

There are lots of different calculations i can do, if you have any questions, or need any explanation to the above gibberish, please say so.

I like the idea of random tools. As far as i know scripting for random operations is very easy (well atleast in Javascript and VB  )
Bring it on. I'd love to own a casino, or play in one. It would be a good rescource getter.

Gunther, don't be absurd. You use permutations in deterining die rolls.
Anyone with any familiarity with dice-based games knows 7 is the most likely roll with 2d6, with outlying rolls getting less probable.

36 possible ways 2d6 can come up. Only 1,1 gives 2, so only 1/36 probability of getting 2. 1,2 or 2,1 gives 3, so 2/36 = 1/18 chance of getting 3. 1/12 for a 4, 1/9 for a 5, 5/36 for a 6. 1/6 for a 7. Then it decreases the same way.

If you don't want to conceed the point, show your math for all the calculations you presented.
