<-- Sinistral. *nods*
I had so many thoughts racing through my head through the last 6 hours... but the only one that remains is... "spectacular". Wow... just wow. Truly breathtaking, especially the part about GOSH, touching something very close to my heart (God bless your soul, E.). What... a... night...

Punctuation marks are not the work of the evil; they're friendly, nice, and make easier to silly people like me understand what the heck your writing. Please use them!

^ Good advice, that. However, whilst you're at it, you may also want to learn the difference between "your" and "you're" and so on.

Some more grammar complaints I have for people:

A part ≠ apart
A part: included
Apart: excluded

Effect vs affect
"Affect" is a verb. Something affects someone. Someone is affected by something.
"Effect" is a noun. Things have effects on things.

There's the one I was forgetting.

I think people do that because "should've" sounds more like "should of" to them instead of "should have", which said people only use when have is the verb. "I should have those papers by five o'clock." Or something like that.

But that doesn't mean that "should of" is correct....because it's NOT correct. "Should've" uses the exact same number of characters and it's also correct, so why are people still using "should of"?

All of this applies to "could" and "would" as well, by the way.

Are we talking about proper grammar in general or are we talking character dialogue? Because some of my characters do not use proper grammar when speaking and I have no other choice but to write what they say :D

RoD keeping with my previous rant: "Ahí hay un hombre que dice ay".
(which literally means "there's a man saying ay" and is what I want to put, even by force, in my goddaugther's head to teach her the difference between using an "h" in one place, in another or not using it at all).

I am trying hard to think if I have ever seen "should of" and I think that I haven't found that yet, (but I also thought I wasn't over there mistaking possesives with verbs, so I'm not trustworthy at all) but yes, for me it sounds just like "should've" so maybe is that. I'm trying to keep good note of that, though.

Since I have English chars I think my English has improved, but also I do mistakes that I never did before and I don't really understand, (I think the most epic fail was when I noticed I wrote "I'll" instead of "Ill" and I wanted to hide and die a little  ) and I'm wondering what could cause that. Maybe just lack of attention, being too centered in a long speech or in the char's thoughts and missing "the trees", the combination of both...?
To the players interacting with my English chars: I will try to re-read before clicking.
To my lovely part time English teacher: you know one of the reasons to adore you is your patience and your "try again" at each grammar crime of mine, don't you? (:

When you lose your keys and someone knows where they are and doesn't tell you...
Somehow you strayed and lost your way,
and now there'll be no time to play,
no time for joy,
no time for friends
- not even time to make amends.
You are too naïve if you do believe life is innocent laughter and fun.
