Dead body dragging

Postby cantrpotatoe » Fri Aug 27, 2004 12:21 am

It has taken a week to get a dead body to 91% with two people dragging it. and we have 6 or 7 to go. is this wrong? one person is at 86% health and the other is at 100% .. just seems like forever :?

You need to have two people at full health working on a body dragging project for it to finish. So unless you get another person helping, you'll just stand there forever.

drag projects are instantaneous. the percentage on them is not affected by time. it's only affected by the healths of the people participating. once you have enough participants, it'll go immediately.

edit: oh, it got answered already...

This is fine to post, I'd say. % on dragging is not time related.

I think it's fine too, it doesn't really cause any cheating to know (Except if you use your own characters to drag without interaction, or some such). Plus, some think it's a bug (As to why this was started, eh?)

But they're all correct. The percentage of dragging is based off of your characters strength. The more characters that assist, the higher the percentage goes, and eventually it completes. This is true fort ALL dragging. I know this has been asked before when someone was dragging a note and it didn't happen instantly, that's because it's also based off of health, and if it's too low, you just can't drag it instantly. Bodies are too heavy to drag instantly, and people struggle as they're dragged away, as to why you need an extra buddy to help you out.

Do dead bodies get older as they lay on the ground, waiting to get buried?

Yes, dead bodies age while on the ground and in a project. Think of it as... decomposing... just at the same rate as aging :P

Kroner, I am Programming Department :) - Aspirant, sure, but I'm quite confident that my answer is correct.

Okay, so we have established that dead bodies grow older if they are not buried, but do they have birthday parties? That is the question.
