If "fun use" means bombs or guns that's sick. I really really hope that's not what you're talking about... I won't be able to play anymore. Cantr has enough violence, why would we need something with a 90-100% kill rate? I'm hoping I'm wrong and just paranoid... but I don't wanna play if that's the case, I know all the pirates with all the resources and active crews will have guns before anyone else, it's something that should never be an option.. that's just my opinion... nothing needs to be explosive in Cantr, the characters are explosive enough as it is.

Maybe it has to do with building destruction. Why don't we wait and see what comes up before people start panicking and knocking down something staff has spent time on and worked into the game without facts.

I haven't seen too much violence in Cantr since TBR disappeared... Starvings and heart attacks don't count.
Besides it's not for killing people. Staff have made it pretty clear they want to overhaul fighting. Just to bring in explosives for killing? Shows where peoples minds are at most of the time.

I don't see it being that necessary.. humans shouldn't have invented explosives IRL in the first place in my opinion =\ I get that it could be other things, I just wanna know myself for sure, I don't know why it has to be all cryptic. We should be informed of things. I didn't mean to fly off the handle or anything, but having been face to face with a gun before, mysterious "explosive powder" rubs me the wrong way.. sorry.

There's no need to be rude, it's my honest opinion, I shouldn't have to hold it back =\ my opinion isn't hurting anyone. I had other points too, that's only one of them. Cantr's pretty much the only game I play because it doesn't have guns =\ therefore if there were guns I wouldn't play. It's a simple statement. I'm not trying to start an argument though.

Besides, like I said, I hope I was wrong. Everyone saying I'm wrong makes me feel a lot better, I got ahead of myself. But Idk why people wanna attack me because I saw a mysterious message and didn't immediately think of fireworks.

miirkaelisaar, this is a discussion board. When you post something, especially in an area labelled "general discussion" chances are, people will discuss it. This is also the Internet, where, like in real life, people have differing opinions. Nobody was attacking you, they just didn't share in your opinion/statement.

are all parts of the game, yet are acceptable to you, as you are playing it...but guns aren't?

Not really.. I've already stated before (not in this topic) that I don't approve of any of those. But guns would be the last straw, that's all. Everyone has a last straw, I'm not the only one.

Frankly, anything termed "if you are the type of person who..." comes off as a little more than an opinion. Because when I say that, I'm judging someone.. but whatever LOL

You could just delete the thread, I would do it myself if I could. I'm sure not everyone who plays Cantr has seen this yet and ruined the surprise. I didn't want a surprise, I wanted to know what was gonna happen because I like being informed and not left in the dark.. and now I know. I for one am satisfied, thanks.

Edit: Actually... I don't think many people would have read this thread seeing the "explosive powder" title if they didn't want to know themselves and wanted to be surprised. Idk.
