? Every hour? I don't know about nothing like this.

This was posted in the game updates thread: "- Animals have a chance of attacking every Cantr-hour, not just twice per day." I wasn't certain of it at the time, hence the (?) at the end of my sentence, but now I've had time to verify it. :)

Yes, but the balance is off. It used to be you could keep a population of 5 wolves and maybe see 1 attack a week, usually less. Now at a population of 4, the wolves are attacking a minimum of once per day. I don't think that killing off the entire species is a valid way to implement IG control over aggression.

Anyway, thank you for addressing the issue and removing the problem until it can be balanced again.

You mentioned wolves - they had a 20% attack chance under the old system. Under that system, 20% did not translate into 20%. Now, it does.

I'm still not clear if that's 20% per pack per hour, or 20% per pack per day, or what. Once that's clarified, I can adjust the numbers. Psychowico, you might have told me this already, but I'm slow, so you have to tell me again.

I thought you canceled them Doug, have you reactivated the attacks in my chars town? Because my char is getting bashed by an elephant now.. Which curiously hits a lot less than a dingo :s

I stopped it for animals that had attack chances of 10% or more only.

I noticed that the animal attacks have basically quit? I can't recall the last attack I seen.

They definitely have not stopped. One of my chars has been struggling against bears. In no way am I complaining about it.... It's an interesting battle for my char, who is novice at hunting, to get the bears before they get him. The bear population has been hovering between 7 and 10 so it seems reasonable they'd be attacking every other day or so.

The only animal attacks I can remember seeing recently were by the weasels. Even the more aggressive animals seem toned down. Just an observation, not a complaint.

One of mine was attacked by a bear on 3645 I think. Could be wrong about the time, but that sounds about right.

I don't saw any animal attack around my characters from time, when Doug decrease animal aggressiveness.

Animals with attack values over 10% were dropped to 0% pending adaptation into the new system.
