It would be really cool. Except for the people who will have to play characters for totaly incredible amounts of time just to reach full capability.
I don't think I would make any new characters that way, and there is no way anyone would start playing on that basis.

And it would make snatch and run so slow for newbies they wouldn't stand a chance! Plus, it would help if at least to the age of three kids could be carried in inventory when necessary. If someone gets too annoying, just pick them up, tuck 'em in your backpack and wait till he calms down.
Ok in real world that would lead to a lot of kicking and screaming..

*climbs out of a hole*
I still think from about a year ago that the best way is to have the first few characters spawn at 20 years old and add a time restriction (Nothing too long like 10-20 days) for babies so that you don't get someone who is just going to play for 2 days and quit and it gives them a chance to learn how the game is played. On top of that put in option on the character creation screen that says if you want to create a baby or an adult. This would prevent those who hate the baby idea from having to do it.
I also have always liked the queue idea. Also who has to say that cantr people age the same way real life people age. 5 years old could be an adult if we all just accepted it.
