Thought or Rant of the day!!!

Spring concert (two days).

Just found out today that the spring concert was reduced down to one day because the marimba octets that were supposed to take up a ton of time during the percussion/jazz night suck (those're the director's words, not mine). So they're being moved to curtain call in place of the wind soloists, jazz band has to play one less song, and the first night it was supposed to be on has been converted into a dress rehearsal.

Pros:
• I don't have to practice extra hard for my solo or pay for a pianist since I won't be playing a solo because director cut it
• We don't have to play the slow swing icky version of Danny Boy.

Cons:
• I don't get to show off my mad clarinet soloing skillz via Mozart Concerto K.622 mvt 1.
• I still have to be there two nights.

Okay. After 8 months of working in a place where... you know what I will not say anything bad about them. I got fired last friday. And out of the blue today, I just got a text from a co worker saying that all of my coworkers missed me and that they wished I was okay.


I don't really know how I feel.

Today I was playing Just Dance, for the Wii. Everything was fine at first but then at the end of one of the songs I had to jump in the air... Well there was a metal cieling fan above my head, so now there's a really nasty gash on my hand and I'm only using my left hand to type this very post.

Honestly, if the fan was going faster... I would be fingerless.

I started a new thing today, since I had lost my inspiration to go out and take photos, I now have to take at least 1 per day for 1 year... let's see, I got 3 I like , sort of, today.

So, I forgot until Saturday that band leadership camp is this week, which means I don't get home until 5:30 each day this week. The grading period ends on Wednesday. I have my AP Calculus exam on Wednesday. I'm not reaady for either of those. Sleep? What's that?
Next week is the week I have to teach a lesson in Spanish. I have my AP Statistics exam on Wednesday. The band banquet is Tuesday night. Dress rehearsal for the spring concert is on Thursday and the concert itself is on Friday night. Studying? Huh? We had to study?

My brain go squishy now.
