Lately stuck in my head...

Shutdown your body shutdown your skin. Shutdown your kisses shutdown within.
Shutdown your feelings shutdown your tongue. Shutdown your dreaming mind shutdown your love.
Shutdown your anger shutdown your precious time. Shutdown you loser shutdown your little mind.
Shutdown your letters shutdown your voice. Shutdown your phone calls shutout the noise.
Shutdown the freezone shutdown your breath. Shutdown your hormones wild shutdown your sex.
Shutdown your anger shutdown your precious time. Shutdown you loser shutdown your little mind.

I gave a promise but it's just not enough for you.
I lied and cheated and betrayed all my trust for you.
I ripped my heart out threw it down on the bed for you.
I crawled away and hid in shadows and dust for your love.

Woke up and I wanted to make you my harbour (cold light bleeding through the closed blinds deep the quicksand cage the soft hands).
Made up but the moment dies (her breath threading through the still night kiss the cold lips make the time slip).

Cut me down and throw me out.
Shut me down and fade me out.

Spaced out and I touch you to make myself calmer (cold light bleeding through the closed blinds deep the quicksand cage the soft hands).
You smile but the moment dies (her breath threading through the still night kiss the cold lips make the time slip).

Cut me down and throw me out.
Shut me down and fade me out.

That's quite nice, Indigo.

I have recently become fixated on a few tracks (no links)
they are those that superimpose different time signatures, and some that shouldn't work, just seem to;
Rubber Shirt (Zappa)
Kashmir (Zeppelin)
and a tune I did with someone.

I think they represent the human condition's ability to 'fill in the blanks', even in supposedly mathematical constraints.

Many, many songs in my playlist, all over the musical spectrum, but I found these lyrics to be quite representative of a character I had left behind to die a sleepers death...

We, who not deny the animal of our nature
We, who yearn to preserve our liberation
We, who face darkness in our hearts with a solemn fire
We, who aspire to the truth and pursue it's strength

Are we not the undisputed prodigy of warfare
Fearing all the mediocrity that they possess
Should we not hunt the bastards down with our might
Reinforce and claim the throne that is rightfully ours

OSI - For Nothing
I don't feel like the sun's coming up
I don't feel like it's gonna get better

I can't keep promises
I forget being seventeen
Hard times come to your troubled son
Hope is the last thing that he needs
Hope is a candle that feeds
Off of the air till it leaves almost nothing

Gotta stay
Gonna stay
Gonna stay
Can't stay

Hope only got us so far
And the saddest thing
As the wind blows your hair
Are the seeds of our nothing

Tut tut Kevin, shattering my heart to pieces (again)... This new album is just... Well I could never tell, you just got to feel it.

He's not Chinese, he's Indonesian. Indonesia used to be a Dutch Colony, in case you've forgotten, so i'ts not surprising that there is still a lot of Dutch influence. Of course, you'll see in other videos he also sings English songs.

Really? So, if he had been, say, Vietnamese, that would have answered your actual question of "What's [he] doing singing in [my language]?!?!"? I don't think so. So I had to actually answer the question you asked, not the one you didn't :-)

Well he was either from China or from Indonesia (I assumed from the exterior looks of the judges), so ruling out China would have enabled me to fill in the blancs. I'm from the Netherlands, and I've studied our "glorious" history.
