Re: The Dead Character Thread
· I didn't know Sylvia was yours.
· WE MISS KAYLA!!!! There was so much dispute over who should be leader after she died, and a bunch of chaos with sleepers, and finally it settled down a bit, although my character was (and still is) seething inside.
· I think I might have met Rain once with one of my characters that has been to Zuzi (there have been three that I can currently remember off the top of my head), but then again some of the characters changed so much between my own characters' visits. Who knows anymore? Anyway, I doubt Rain would've known any of mine.
· Rei's name sounds familiar. Now I have to look it up. I'll get back to you on that.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
Yes, Sylvia was mine, and it was because of her death that I ended up quitting, sadly.
I was very proud of what she had accomplished in her 30 years alone in the forest, and I was nowhere near done.
I know, Kayla was my most loved-by-everyone char. But only Libby and Aisha ever really listened to her. Kayla repeated a dozen times over that she was -not- the leader and that the town -had- no leader. It was a free town since the day she spawned and she didn't want that changing. Then there was the mass of newspawns who insisted the town needed a leader and complained because Kayla was too depressed/sleepy to do anything. She was never leader material, all she ever tried to do was help people find their way, not lead them. Losing Libby and the pressure from the town after that-even if no one meant to pressure her-was just too much in the end.
I don't think Rei was even 30 when she died, but she was deeply in love with Aquila.
And I totally forgot to mention Amalthea, the timid, skittish governor of Puk. I miss her friends a lot. Ankaria, Akkarin, Meem...Nocenti, and her Spanish Commandante. She loved the Commandante in the end, but her heart was always with Nocenti, and Ria knew it. I am eternally touched that she took Ammy's body to be buried in Nocenti's desert. Ammy always wanted to move to the desert with him, but she was too attached to everyone in Puk to leave.
You should PM me the name of your chars who knew Sylvia and Kayla, and maybe the one who went to Zuzi.

I did PM you, but before your last post was posted. You know the one who knew Kayla, but not the others. And your post just now actually just answered one of the questions I sent via PM.

I'll always miss Libby the most, even if he wasn't my char. He made Kayla who she was and she couldn't gather the strength to keep going on without him.
Candy, from Bhak. She was one of the most fun to play, and the only badass char I've ever had. She'll stick in my memory forever, along with everyone who made her the way she was.
Terra/Tsura, from Doryiskom. I've probably mentioned her here before, but Dory was my favorite town because of her, her two favorite men, and her wonderful sisters. It would've been so boring without all of you.
Rain, the child-like mute who spawned and died in the desert, but spent most of her short life in Zuzi. She had fun there with the chars she interacted with, and she loved them very much. Her real name was Cyra, but she could never tell anyone that, and she liked the name Rain.
I adored Kayla. My character did too before she turned "psychotic". She did just flip out in the end. She'd lost what was left of her sanity. Libby and Kayla were both awesome characters. Had several that ran across Candy. She was "interesting" to say the least.

All in all some well played wonderful characters who are and will remain missed.

Thank you Mitch. ^_^ Even in the end, Kayla still thought of her as a friend, you know. And I had lots of fun as Candy with your chars around. Rain loved you guys, but Ari scared her a little. lol

He was very sad when she fell asleep. He knew he would never see her again when she left.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I have a char who would be very sad to know that Candy is dead. She figures she is, but tries not to give up hope that she'll come back some day like she promised. *sighs* Mine thinks of her everytime she looks at a certain map. Oh well, another one that never will, that makes......about everyone who's ever left there.

I'm sorry if my char was part of the pressure, but he NEEDED a leader. Life without someone telling him what to do, even someone evil, was inconceivable. Thank goodness for Captain Taylor's return, until he, too, went the way of everyone else in his life.

RIP Secret... It seems that everyone who spent much time on Rus/Omeo knew her at some point.
I know of a char that may make it his lifes mission to grant her last request.

edit: That's not the only reason why she's missed...but just saying...
