About five days ago I think, char 1 hit char 2, and then seemed to hit themselves, then RPed the attack as char 2 hitting char 1. A few minutes later char 1 said OOC they hadn't said the dialogue, the dialogue and the attack were both from char 2, but had been displayed as char 1's actions, as if the accounts had crossed over somehow. So it was kinda like:
(going down)
You see X attack Y with a pillow
You see X attack X with a pillow
X says: "*attacks X with the pillow*"
When it should've been:
You see X attack Y with a pillow
You see Y attack X with a pillow
Y says: "*attacks X with the pillow*"
Then a few hours ago in another town, a character started a project, and two projects showed up, but one was started by someone different who said they didn't start the project. It was a key-copying project and the "phantom-starter" in question had handed the key to the person who actually started the real project. But somehow when the one copied the key, it caused the other person's account to also begin a project.
I thought I should say something since it seems like they might be the same issue maybe, and it's kind of a big issue if people's accounts keep crossing.

Re: Characters crossing over?
This is a known bug. It happens only in a very special situation. We are working on finding why it happens.

This doesn't smell exactly like the old problem, Echoman.
Miirk, can you please PM me the details before the events expire in the DB?

Re: Characters crossing over?
Ok, the first incident is actually the incident previously reported. I'm checking into the key thing now...

After investigation, whatever happened with that key is a separate issue.
