Fishing for salmon
A while ago I set up a project and it was only possible to work on it when the ship (longboat) was moving. Now I have finished the project and started a new one. And I get the error message that working on the project is only possible when the ship is not moving. Has this project been changed and I have missed it, or is this something not intended?

Yes this was changed a few weeks ago. The ship must be floating, and the output more than doubled.

Was this ever a suggestion and accepted? I think such things should go a more official (public) way.

I've seen this thread. Well, the issue here is that something that was useful before, is absolutely useless now.
So I suggest to make fishing possible again while sailing since there is absolutely no reason not to do it. (if there was one, someone probably would have had the courtesy to mention it and it wouldn't have been a problem to discuss it in public)
The same output as it was before would be absolutely fine.

Like you can see, this output wasn't fine for most of players. And arguments was write in this thread, if i remember correctly.

Of course players always want more output. Give them all the facts and let them decide then. Changing a project completely and then saying it was something that the players wanted while it wasn't discussed at all is simply dishonest

I was one of first who want more output in this case. Not because I am furious player who want "more more more". In most case I want less as game co-creator. But in this case old output just make be "fisher" totally idiotic, nonsense thing - for most chars. This was just addition to sailing.. Nobody (maybe almost nobody) made ships only to fishing. I think I repeat meself there.

Fishing was one of the very few useful things that you could have done on a small slow boat during long travels. Now it isn't possible anymore and you still haven't given any reason for it.

I think it is much more realistic to be able to fish with a small net on a small slow boat during long travels than for example:
- driving a fast vehicle and working on projects that require full concentration at the same time
- one person being able to sail a huge ship alone

For me it sounds that you use arguments like players who want "increase" output of some projects, because their need it. We not create game totally identical with life, but similar. Some things are bordering by gameplay utility, some by programming difficulties.

You were the one (or one of them) who wanted increased output

I gave you a reason. BTW I don't make this change, but I'm agree with it. And I gave you reason why I want more output. Next is that when fishing rod gave more output that nets - it did with people who fishing by ship idiots

As I said, I don't care if the output is increased or not. What really bothers me is that something that once worked now isn't working anymore and if you gave a reason for it, I must have missed it.
