DVD's worth buying

Postby .::. MysticGötén .::. » Sat Aug 14, 2004 10:11 pm

Don't you sometimes have a movie, which you so much like, or has such an impact that you need to buy it, regardless if you have seen it many times before?

I usually download all movies from internet (kazaa, torrent etc)
But there are some movies I just need to have on DVD, because their so good and I respect the makers and the movie.

The DVD's I have:

-Matrix
-Matrix Reloaded
-Matrix Revolutions
-Gladiator
-Band of Brothers (5 DVD pack)

The past is gray
Why even bother
... it all fades away

I own a lot of Pixar movies on DVD--one day I want to work for Pixar, so I love the special features on how they made it.

Hahah I usually only rent. I only own Black Hawk Down on DVD (and book).

I've rented everything Spider said and up, and A LOT more. Bastards at Blockbuster make a lot off me. Bastards.

Band of Brothers is incredible, I just felt like remarking. Incredible.

I know its not on dvd .. but I just saw it and it was actually good.
Aliens vs. Predator

It suprised me. most other vs. movies suck ( Freddy vs. Jason is by far the worst movie i have seen).

but the storyline was better than i thought too...

I loved the name of Sergeant Daniel Malarky, (malarky=bullshit for all those non native speakers) that I had to use it on loan for one of my late characters.

Some of my good DVD's:

Resevoir Dogs (better than Pulp Fiction)
A Bridge too Far (just look at the line-up...impressive!)
Final Fantasy (I don't understand why people keep complaining about it)
Lord of the Ring (of course)
Lost Horizon (oldie but goodie)
Eat the invisible food, Industrialist...it's delicious!
