Thought or Rant of the day!!!

I've just discovered tonight that my daughter apparently has phenomenal psychic powers. But first, a little background:
For some reason my kids were waxing nostalgic and going through a box of old school projects. My daughter found one from a Thanksgiving of a few years back which had some sort of puzzle like "My first is in TOP but not in MOP, My second is in HIT but not in SIT" and so forth, spelling out "Thanksgiving". So I decided to give them one, spelling out one of my kids' names with clues like "my fourth is in UNIONIZE, but not in PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS" , and the like. They got it, so I gave them another, and they realized after the first letter it must be another of the kids, and the third one they got before any letters. So the next one they took two guesses (because it was one of the dogs, and not another kid) without any letters, and the next they guessed that it wasn't "MOM", but her actual name.

So, now here comes the psychic part. So I said, "Okay, this next one won't be any more names, because they obviously too obvious". They got the first letter, P (in ADEPTER, but not in STREAMBED) and she immediately guesses "PANCAKE" which was correct! I almost crashed the car (well, not literally) It's not like we had pancakes anytime in the past year, been talking about them, seen them anywhere, her favorite food, etc. It was completely and totally random.

I gotta get her to pick me some lottery numbers....

Absolutely wonderful evening with my uncles and friend.

Alcohol (wine and Cape Cods), amazing homemade dinner (salad, baked chicken with delicious seasoning, caramelized onions and cauliflower), dessert (mini chocolate pie pockets made from scratch by me, dressed up with a bit of ice cream on their part), much talk of England and travel and other intellectual discussion finished off by watching some British comedies. I needed that.

I'm still feeling very luxurious after being to a spa yesterday. Two hours of someone else taking care of my body and drinking champange in a scented bath filled with herbs. And the best, I didn't have to pay.

Okay, I know this is non cantr related thread, but I didn't want to start a new one..and didn't know where else to put this but..

Olives, they are harvested in cantr and can be eaten straight from the tree. Have you ever eaten an olive straight from the tree? They make you gag they are so bitter and disgusting!

Yup. Ate them all the time as a kid when my mother was making fried potatoes and I got impatient. I still think they're pretty tasty!

Also I started watching Game of Thrones last night. I knew there was incest in this show, I.. had no idea it was ~this~ much.

Fantastic series both books and the HBO show. The incest in the show is nothing lawl and quite important to the story.
