Re: Accessibility of interface
What happened to the link back to Cantr from the forum up by the User Control Panel link?

Naming people
Can we do something similar with naming people? I hate that when I get introduced to more than a couple people at once, I have to start doing "show all" in order to hit the last couple, then read the events above the introductions.

Re: Accessibility of interface
And now that I think about it, the only time the word Cantr is mentioned on this page is in the title of the tab and the address bar and the only mention on the actual page is in your above post. Now to most of us that fact that everything is green practically screams Cantr, but I think it would be logical to have better game branding within the forums. Surprised I'd never noticed it until I read your post.

Re: Accessibility of interface
I don't really care about the word Cantr being mentioned more on the forum pages a lot, since most people will know; it would probably be better though, as you said.
I just liked the link that let me click it to go back to the game from the forum. We used to have one with the old forums, then when the fact that there wasn't one any longer was brought up a long time after the forum change, Armulus added one on the bar by User Control Panel. Now it's disappeared, and I'd like to see it back.

(Split! Don't hijack existing suggestions for new (or rather non-searched) suggestions)
This has been discussed before. Please search and merge.
The thing is that you would probably want to see the events page for every char you name so you know who said what, who spawned when, who introduced whom and so on. So you would have to reload the events page several times anyway.
It would be possible if we had the char-naming textbox as a mouseover function on character names and posted it with JavaScript.

Re: Naming people
Right, what I would really like to see is more control over the events page in general. The ability to hide everything below what I've already read, particularly when I check in and find out I have 8 pages to read that I'm never going to be able to cover all in one sitting. The ability to lock it from auto-hiding after number of views, for the same reason.
What would be nice is if I could click a button next to an event and have it hide everything below it, and have an option in the settings to not auto-hide after a certain number of views (of course, events would still disappear after the six day mark, same time they would from "show all")
Did I just hijack my own thread? Because that would be awesome. I'll try and verify this suggestion doesn't already exist, then rename it or roll it into UI enhancements.

Re: Accessibility of interface
I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but would it be possible for the "working on a project" icon on the People tab to link to the actual project page?

Re: Accessibility of interface
I'm sure it is possible. I'll add it to the development topic.

Re: Accessibility of interface
Another idea: when we click on the name on the project information page (creator or participants) links should direct us onto that certain's character description page, not small list on the people page. That's absolutely useless feature in my opinion, never gave me any advantages and forced many times to click more.

Yes, I completely agree. You can already see who is working on it, useless to just show that again.

Re: Accessibility of interface
I'm not sure it can be posted here or moved to another topic - thing which was suggested by someone as addition to the people page improvements: add work/sex/wounds/hunger icons on the character list page. It could be very useful to get instant information about all characters, especially if we have not enough time to take care of all of them at the moment. And there will be no possibility to miss that our character will soon die because of starvation, because we have no time to read all events.

Re: Accessibility of interface
Another suggestion: make "store into container" page to look like "retrieve from container" page. I think that page is now the ugliest in whole Cantr:
* TWO small list menus
* TWO submit buttons :O
* TWO pages (select container->select amount) to make such easy thing as storing potatoes in the cup

Re: Accessibility of interface
I've been looking at the character description page, and the subtitles don't really work all that well in the way they look. I think they ought to be a different color than the rest of the text or have each section set apart by a line, as all the sections just feel like they're squashed together.
I thought I'd illustrate. (All names and terribly identifying information have been changed to protect the innocent.):
Whether there was a slight change to the page, or I'm just noticing it for the first time, or have noticed and thought about it but never endeavored to say anything, I thought I'd give some input now.
