OMG no one even said anything about that before now. It's no wonder today has been going so well for me.

Rant: I cut really deeply into the tip of my finger at the base of the nail while chopping an onion because it's been too bloody long since I've sharpened my knives. My mother took pity on me and came over to remedy that situation. Husband took pity on me and finished chopping the vegetables while I wrapped my finger in plastic so I could handle the dough for the hamburger buns. I'm more annoyed that I'm an idiot than that I hurt myself.

Use duct tape to seal the wound. :)

Or, to make you feel like less of an idiot, in the past 48 hours I have: tipped over two mugs full of hot liquid (tea, hot chocolate, both partially over my laptop), broken a glass by knocking a bowl against it (accidentally), tripped over a belt, and nearly fallen down the stairs. (Except I have no wounds to speak of, so I suppose I'm lucky.)

That kinda does make me feel better, just because, for me, slicing my finger is probably better than spilling things on my laptop or breaking anything due to the fact that I treat my electronics like my babies, loud noises and the sound of breaking things kind of terrify me, and broken things are always traumatic.

My desktop computer caught some Russian malware and refused to show me anything but the blue screen of death. Luckily, reinstalling windows is supposed to solve the problem.

I woke up late today. It was nice, but I'm running behind for work. Thankfully, I make my own schedule...so I won't bein trouble. But I already received a call frommy staff and there's an angry guest waiting for me. Ugh...can I go back to sleep?

Good grief, I'm so bored... Often I wonder what I'd be doing all day if I wasn't playing Cantr, but so much of playing just consists of waiting for something to happen. And usually when there are new events, it's just someone whispering to someone else.

Today is one of those days when I question why in the world I spent the past four years getting a degree in a field I probably won't pursue. I wonder where I would be if I had actually gone to an art school like I originally wanted to?
