It's been this way for me for about a week. It does seem to retrieve the events, but won't update the page. (When also using CantrSpy, it always shows no new events, even when there are pages of them that haven't yet been shown on the events page. Also, when you go back to the player's page, there are no new events for the character.)

Firefox 9.0.1 on Windows 7 if that's important. (Firefox 8.? also as I think it updated earlier this week. Definitely after it started happening.)

I don't have those additional problems, unless you mean, all that happens when you have your character window open? If so, I haven't tried that. I'm running Firefox 10 beta on windows 7.

I don't know what additional problems you are referring to. For me, if I leave the event page open, no new events are shown, but CantrSpy also doesn't show that there are new events for that character, even if there are some that I haven't seen on the page yet. In other words, everything still works the same as it did before except the events page never shows the new messages unless you manually refresh the page. (But they do seem to be getting flagged as read on the server).

Ok, that clarifies it. Yes, that's the same thing as me.

Even refresh doesn't seem to be working in the TE, and that's the easiest place to test it. I'll try it in the live environment - I just need to sit and wait for events.

@Navi - are you running the Greasemonkey script? It might be worth turning it off, just to ensure that has nothing to do with it.

I just verified that it is not working on my Mac, Firefox 8. Maybe Firefox is the problem.

Turning Greasemonkey off also fixed the problem.

Everything works fine for me. Then again, I am avoiding upgrading Firefox right now and use CantrSpy 1.

Greasemonkey is definitely the problem. I've let Greek know.

Oddly enough, it's not working on my laptop, but it's fine for my desktop. I don't use GreaseMonkey on either. (I can't even use Cantrspy on my laptop. But that's another story.) If it's any help, I'm currently being forced to use Internet Explorer.

I don't know what can I do, because I have FF on Win xp and everything works almost always. Also game code wasn't modified so I have no ideas how to deal with it.

Well, whatever the problem is, I believe it's a display error, in that the script is actually hiding the new events. I say this because all other processes that monitor these things believe the events were displayed. I'll try to modify the settings and see if it can be tracked to any particular function of Cantr Advanced.
