One of my chars has dropped his sword on his foot when chasing a thief... That was intentional on my part, though. And there wasnt even anyone around to appreciate it...

Another tried killing some animals with a borrowed sabre... He missed the animal (i think it was a horse) and dropped the sabre. Cutting himself slightly, of course... He now sticks with his axe.

BUt neither of them are really embarrassing, as I did them on purpose.

Nah, most embarassing would have to be either talking out loud in a private discussion - although I've seen much much worse than my one - or talking with the wrong character a few times.

My characters have done several embarrassing things. Let's begin...

1. (common) Spoke to someone trying to give them a description.

2. (common) Spoke something out loud that was meant to be private. (I roleplayed myself out of one, pretty good, but was still embarrassed)

3. (I'm guessing this one is common) Knocking on doors by accident. It is pretty embarrassing knocking on the door to your own building or knocking on a door that is unlocked or a door you have a key for.

4. Last, I to hit a person of authority not knowing it. My character's boyfriend said something out loud that really was meant to be private. We were both embarrassed and a sheriff made a rude comment. Not knowing he was a sheriff I slapped him and almost got in trouble.

5. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about this one...We were getting ready to kill this guy with his own crossbow. When I went to hit him I too handed it to him, but good thing he was carrying to much.

I don't think number 1 is that common. The windows for the two don't look at all alike...

Number 3 certainly is. Amusing RP of that in Drojf. John Locke (I think...) accidentally knocked on the post office, and played it as walking into the doorframe.

 It was John.

I bet it was somewhat embarassing for Drew McKenzie when he took the wrong road out of 2 choices to get to a desert a town over right after us telling him which road, and him with map in hand...among other things. He's funny, but a little thick.

I have had characters who meant to say something to a certain person, but said it to another in several instances.

I've seen people roleplay that they were farming for carrots when there wasn't any carrots there, only rice.

I also seen the same instance done when someone was trying to dig for stone but there wasn't any stone.

I've also accidentally said something to someone when I meant to give them a name.

I often mean to say something to someone when its just my character and another on a path, but end up having my character say it to themself. I go for days wondering why the character opposite mine never responded, only to finally realize...i had spoken to myself. LOL

Sometimes theres a problem with my browser where I'll be logged into a certain character, but when I post something it comes out on a differant characters screen. (I know this happens to others as well lol) But the embarrassing thing about it is when you're playing a male char and role playing something that involves the word "he" but ...You do a double take and you notice your female character is the one who actually did that.

Let's just say my male character and someone elses female character thought they were alone on a path. Put on quite the performance for a traveler.

One of my characters, a total doofus (haven't said that for years!), spawned in a town, and instantly began stocking up on every rescource he could find.

Ready to make his escape he looked at the exits - only to find that all of them were unusable because of unfinished improvement projects!!!

The character had to return the items and promptly apologise!

A thing that will make you feel even more embarrassed, eddy..: You can walk on roads even if they are being improved. The take this road icons just ain't showing if you are engaged in a project. ;)

Everybody make mistakes occasionally... n00b or self-named 1337. (the latter more than the former, often...)

I wouldnt worry. Laugh, and live.

Ok, I must go reveal this now... The silly guy was going from Seatown Garden to the forest, and Gahak to the other way. Seeing a chance he couldn't resist...

Gahak on the road wrote: 909-5: You see silly slap silly in the face.
909-5: silly says: "Hehehehe....... duh."
909-5: You say: "Good for you. *Grimaces with hidden discust.* Listen, in the forest there`s a man called Jo Jo. Jo-Jo, understand? Well, some say he`s really a woman in disguise.. Do you know what`s the difference between a man and a woman? It`s between the legs. Would you mind to check it while you go there? Just lift his shirt, he`s the one wearing a girly silk shirt and no pants. I`m not sure if he knows the thing himself.. or herself.. so he would be so happy when you helped him to find out the right matter of things. *Chuckles.*"

I guess if the person would have done what Gahak said, someone would already gone shouting at me in the forums so... I have been embarrassed over that ever since, thinking what might happen... But picture that in your mind.. I just can't help thinking I might mentally hurt the player, when trying to insult the character. I was bullied in school so I can imagine how bad it would feel.

a man in his thirties hurts you using a war bow. You lose 29 percent strength.

You attack a man in his thirties using a bare fist, but you miss.

a man in his thirties says: "*laughs*Your funny"

'Nuff siad really...
