Excrement

I think now there are animals that animal dung should be added as a collectable resource, both to make daube (for houses) and as fertiliser for crops (possibly been used up but increasing the output of crops for a short period):

Animal Dung
150g per day
Increases crop ammounts by 0.2% per gram used.

Daube house
1500g Dung
250g Wood
1000g Corn
100g Stone
Limited storage capacity.

Ummmm...no?

I mean yeah it's a good idea, but I just...erm...feel uncomfortable to have my characters pick up shit. Lets just say the excrement is there, and keeps the plants growing...around town.

Also as a fuel...

This has come up before. The problem is that there is no implemented means for getting resources from animals without killing them.

If you just make it gathered normally, you could end up collecting dung in a place without so much as a pigeon, while people knee-deep in buffalo can't find any.

"Mud" fills the roll of Crap.

Brown, smelly, sticky, sick to touch, makes a house, and holds plants. Good enough for me.

You unfairly malign mud. It doesn't necesarily smell bad.

Anyway, you can't burn mud. I still want fuel you can get outside of forests...

There is.

Not to give too much away, but ever heard of the gas purifier?

I'm still pro-shit though, its a vital part of real world environments and eccosystems.
Also, couldn't it be added at the same time as milk and sheep shearing, maybe as a use button?

Heard of it? Yes. Know it's function? maybe. Have any idea what you can do with propane? no.
What is propane doing in cantr, anyway? Seems like a huge jump in technology.

'The same time as milk and sheep-shearing' means hopefully within the natural lifespans of most current cantr players...

This is rather a shitty topic

lol jk

I don't think Animal Dung would be of any use...

unless..... there would be bags, in which you could put the animal dung... put it in front of a house.. then light it on fire... knock... run away.... and watch if the house owners try to stamp on it!
That would be some funny roleplaying 8)

Propane isn't much of a tech-tree jump. And considdering Electricity might crop up soon... *Shrugs* We have cars. That's kinda high-tech, lol. But this topic is about shit-or-no-shit.

This is the shit topic, not babies....

I'm against babies for cantr...I mean...what an "egg meets sperm" manufacture button? AHHAHAHA....no. Rp'll be abused. let Prog Dept work on the more important stuff. Even garages for vehicles and barns for cattle is better. Then we can move on to animal domestication. Also fix the goddamn travelling system, and boat dock system, before this, is my suggestion.

Anthony knows what he's doing...and the gas is a welcome introduction.

Yeah, but is he sucking up to the right person?

Leave me and my babies alone, Nitefyre, or I'll have to set a fire under your garage, and burn down your barn.

Uh oh, we're going to get in trouble, fighting in Suggestions. Ummmm........what was the topic again? *looks around, all innocent like, pointing at Industriallist* It was him what done it.

Oh yeah, shit. I really think it unnecessary for this game, though I'd love to be able to build an outhouse. I think I put that on my wish list a long time ago lol.

*pushes Oasis into her portopotty and when she's locked in, pushes down the portopotty down with the doorside pinned to the ground*

I am anti-shit. Oh and another thing, I'm against the introduction of fire ... ;) to burn buildings down. Maybe for Cantr II 2.0 but not this.
