If another player's/character's actions really bother you that badly and you "care" enough to tell them, can you not just whisper them an ooc message asking them to change their behavior if at all possible? I think that would be much more effective than blasting that player publicly and embarrassing them in front of the whole community, sometimes for things they didn't even know they were doing "wrong". Half the time it wasn't a matter of being wrong or right, but an issue over a style of play. I don't get why people seem to think that they should be able to control how other people play the game. Or if another player doesn't play the game exactly like they do, that gives them the right to bitch about it. I know not every single rant/vent was directed at a single character or player, but there were times it was pretty obvious and that happened a lot more often than it should have. If someone's pissing you off that badly, have the guts to go ahead and tell the person. If you feel it's not worth mentioning to them, then it's not worth bringing to the attention of the public, right? Really, what's the point? To get everyone angry at each other? What purpose does that serve? Do you honestly feel better after stirring that flame war, or are you more upset about it? And what if those players you're talking about don't even read this forum? These intentional attempts at ambiguity that are clearly directed at specific people reminds me of reading Facebook statuses of the drama llamas back in my high school days.
