They seem to be very hard to kill and one of my characters has now had at least 5 hits with 30-35 strength and no kill.
I was under the impression that once you've reached 100 a bear would be killed, or isn't it so?

Re: Killing bears
According to the wiki, I think all bears have a strength of 200, so it should take a total of that much to kill one, unless I'm wrong about that. Smaller animals have much lower strength values, such as a rabbit only having 15.
As an aside, what's with the animal page on the wiki having a "B" section, and a "b" section?

Re: Killing bears
Something was listed with a capital B and something with a lowercase b?
It could be that the bear you were hunting died of old age, so you started killing the next one in line.

Re: Killing bears
I have had a feeling that it has become harder to kill.
Is it always the same animal you hurt? Or do they take turns to stand in front of my spear?
Do they heal?
I have hurt a zebra (at least) 6 times now, with 4x19 and 2x18. That's 112 and a zebra should have 110 in strength. But it still moves.

Re: Killing bears
The Zebra could have easily retained 3 HP due to rounding issues. If you tell me the location name, I can check if this is the case.
The same animal is the one hunted, unless it dies of old age first.
Any animal can attack.

I see, thanks.
I can wait until tomorrow and see if it dies. It's not a big issue it was more that I had a feeling something had changed.
