Arenti, hold your horses. Lets see next monts report if the ingame message and this thread has had any effect (which I really think it did).

Too late lol... Anyway it doesn't matter. As normally I spend a lot more on games. each month. I do not do that anymore for now so I want to support the game I love more than any other game. :D

They bring in a significant portion of our players. You don't see them because you're either not searching for online games to play, or it's smart enough to know that you already play (a distinct possibility, since google uses tracking cookies).

Well I see Grepolis ads all the time on this site, but I already play that. I play flash games on Kongregate on a regular basis and have never seen an ad there. Or do we only do Google ads and not any banners?

One of the two banners on the main site is a "dumb" link-exchange banner. The other is a Google Adsense banner.

I will have to say that Cantr is one of the few sites I have ads allowed through my java blocker, so that could have something to do with it...

I really hope many people will donate. I mean even 5 dollars a month is not much for how much pleasure Cantr gives us. Of course I understand if some people are not able to spare any money and thats okay. But if you have enough money and you have lots of fun with Cantr? What is keeping you from donating a little bit of money?

Okay, okay, you've guilted me into it. My kids can eat macaroni and cheese for another month, right?

The economy page haven't been updated in quite some time, but an update is in the works. I'm not sure exactly when it will be finished though.

We now have the financial statistics up and running again. We set the current balance to 0, because it is somewhat hard to get data for several years of monthly fees and donations and add them up. This might be done at some point in the future, but probably not. So the figures may not be correct in terms of a balance, but we should be able to see the monthly trend for now.
