One tag has been translated in the language database for about three years. Apparently implementing a stone alcove was planned at some point and never realized. The other tag I had to add manually and needs to be translated.

I like the idea, but the implementation leaves something to be desired. Compared to a stone extension, a stone alcove gives a lot less room. Yet the building costs in material and time are not reduced nearly as much. A stone alcove can hold 4 people, 15.4% of the 26 people held by a stone extension. It can hold 600,000 grams, 15.8% of the 3.8 million grams held by a stone extension. However, it requires 5,000 stone (50%) and 8 days (66.7%) to build. I can appreciate some disadvantages to building on a smaller sale, but it's difficult to justify building an alcove after looking at the current costs and benefits, relative to an extension.
