Deep thought of the week.

If a radio sends a message, but no one's there to hear it, does it generate an event?

Yes because you can read the event.

Cantr towns are like wasps' nests on the side of a house. They work so hard to build up their home and get resources and things like that, getting food, making resource runs so they can build more.....and then some cheater with a can of insecticide comes along and kills 'em all.

I mean you as the Cantr boss, anyone that can get into see inside the game would see the event so it happened.

It's like the question: If a tree falls in the forest, is there a sound of it falling if noone is there listening?

And what if all sounds are saved somewhere? So if we only knew how to, we could listen to what people said many hundred years ago.

Yes. "You see X speak into a medium radio transmitter" or whatever. Got any other easy ones?

1234-5.67: You hear from medium radio transmitter: "I can hear this!"
1234-5.67: You say into a medium radio transmitter: "I can hear this!"

In the code it's the same transaction that generate these two events, so it's impossible not to hear yourself.

False. The first one is impossible to not hear, but the second is possible if they did not build a receiver in the same location as the transmitter.

I'm fairly certain it does not create an event other than for the person who spoke into it, to say you have spoken into a receiver.

I believe radio receivers have eyes. They receive all messages and then look around the room. If someone is there, then they speak.

Yes, what Bowser said. It fits all the facts.
