Dahlia began to help the pirates to save her own neck. She didn't know the people there long before this all happened so she felt no emotional ties to the people there. She was new. After helping the rest capture Ryan however, Dahlia was put on public trial. During the thing she answered questions, was honest with her replies but in the end felt too guilty about what all she'd helped do. She didn't feel she deserved to continue on. Dahlia walked out of town onto the road and Phaedrus followed and tried to talk her into coming back. They weren't going to just let her go and she knew that and didn't expect her to, but after having a conversation with Phaedrus it was clear she wasn't returning back with him and he ended up killing her there on the road

lol No, I played the bastard who locked her up. He didn't mean to leave her in there for so long but he almost got killed by his ex-best friend and lost his memory as a result.
