Re: So, where were you on 3333 3:33:3?
My very first character on my first account would've been spawned in the mid-late 800's (I know one was at least alive 924 from an email I sent to PD about a player and was probably a couple of years old by then); too bad none of those made it this long. But my oldest living character on this account was spawned 1168 and the oldest dead character on this account was spawned 1145.

The first character on my account was spawned in 468, and my oldest was 108 when he died (rip Devon Dobbs) (actually, 3 of them were that old, a few others just a year or two younger), so quite a few saw the 1's and the 2's, but not the 3's.

Wow! lol
I wish I had info from my first account. My old character names from back in the day seem to elude me.

The only one I can remember from my first account is Karin of VHS/Heartswater Hills. One of my recent chars went through there and found a memorial landmark for her.
I do however have one current character who live on a small island in a house built by one of my first characters. Can't remember the name of the old character though, and I didn't even recall the place for what it was until I had been there for a while.

I remember Karin! I was Helga Veezbrook.
Did Karin get killed by those pirates?

I remember Helga too.
Karin starved or had a heart attack when I quit.
She spawned just after VHS was hit by pirates, when Helga had been kidnapped and the survivors was preparing to go find her. She then joined the hunt with Surly for whatever-his-name-was the pirate. She also wrote a book about it all when she got home.

Jarrod and Mephiston's Dreadnaught? (something like that). I remember hunting those blokes (and the girl that was trying to claim she was a prisoner an not with them), and remember my character being very angry that she missed out on the capture, having arrived late to the party.
Oh, the days when longboats were cool, and a bug allowed you to put cabins on them. I don't even think I knew what a raker was until my second account (hell, maybe they didn't even exist then). Sloops for speed, longboats for cargo.
Deserea Seadrake was one of my favorites off my first account, and I kind of cloned her personality for the second go-around. She's one I regret killing off.

Yeah that's the ship. It was a longboat with several cabins or holds, and a ton of machinery on it.
I remember sighting Deserea's ship on the horizon behind us as we were sailing after the Dreadnaught to the west.
Dang, I need to see if I can find that book.

It was really a sloop? I really thought it was a longboat. Anyway, I've seen Deserea's old ship, the Seadrake, about. Fun that no one ever changed the name.

No, I edited.
I also found the book as it was posted on the Cantr blog at some point. Maybe I should format it for BB-code and post it on the forums?

Yes, please do! Helga wrote a long account of her adventure with the pirates, escaping and making it back home.....I imagine it's still in Heartswater Hills, deep in the archives perhaps.
