I can't possibly believe you're serious. That town seems to be such a safe place for free speech and general tolerance.

I'm not from that town ;)

Ah... Never trust the savages who show up for a free feast and booze.

Back on topic, now I'm curious who you are in Bhak or on the island.

Also, really wondering who plays Moab Stormwender. From Sjoftich area and currently in Blerk Hills. Oh, and Ox, same place.

You're on fire there, I'm in their current town, but not playing either one of those two. I would expect my char there to be considerably less memorable, though she did have an uncommonly long speech today. XD

So, the Countess? :D

Cool, way cool. Not the most talkative town leader, but definitely memorable.

I am now interested in knowing who plays who in Nraam. Intriguing town.

Guilty! I would really like to have someone do a picture of her looking all melancholy thinking back to memories of her husband, but I wouldn't know how to bribe someone to make it for me and I don't have the talent.

And I totally second Litta. She was great! Shame it doesn't seem like too many responded to her from what I saw. =(

Umm.... this person, the one with the thing with the thing who did that, from that town. No, not /that/ town; the other one.

Oh really? OMG! That is awesome! But wait. Isn't it against the rules to out another player's characters unless it's already been outed? I'm pretty sure he never outed this one. :?

Oh well!

Do you know if he played that person in this other town, too?

I don't think Jos still plays Cantr. That's kind of sad, now that I think about it.

Even if he did, his chars probably wouldn't be mentioned in a thread like this. He's a simmer, not a RP'er. ;)

We play to make stuff.
We get resources, build cars, trade. Basically like my characters. XD
Though I have some very opinionated characters..

Simmer = playing this as a society simulator. As opposed to a rper = playing this like a role playing game.

I don't understand the sharp distinction though. Is not society in real life exactly the kind of interactions that roleplay intends to imitate?

Maybe the better way to describe the difference we mean is... simmers are more interested in the physical simulation (building and growing towns, resources, etc.), and roleplayers in the mental (psychological development of chars, social change, culture)?

They're certainly not mutually exclusive. The mental rests purely on the physical. After all, can't have culture that survives longer than a year if no one collects food.
