grave markings
I have seen very few grave markers around. I know of that one crypt thing in Quillionoi but that is it. I think that there should be some type of tombstones that can be built in game. Some of us that lose dear friends or even spouses might want to comemorate that person but can't cause notes just get thrown away.
I mean hasn't anyone wondered what happened to the people in that place where your character just died. if you had another character come through that land and didn't see anything to mark that persons grave wouldn't you feel kinda upset to think that you were close to those people and only to be forgotten so soon.
I don't kow what everyone else thinks. But I think it would be a nice idea. I know its just a game but don't we play like we are those characters.

I am the Dragon Slayer. And as long as I have my friends behind me. I will never fall.

I threw an idea like this infront of Thomas for him to gobble up in a theory thought.
I questioned if there would be a possible way to make an object that gets a notes attributes applied to it. Ie: You go to create the object, and you write in the name of the tomb/memorial and what it states on it, then you work on the probject. When it finishs, it lands on the ground as a object that can't be moved - the only thing you can do is "view" it.
As well, if such a thing were enacted, signs could be produced as well, but of course, these signs would need to be editable, AND would need to have it automatically read to the character when they arrived at the location. (Or something like: "You arrived at 'location A'. You see a sign" - and clicking on "a sign" would be the same as clicking on the EYE view button.)
I'll have to keep badgering on such an addition to the game >.>

Oowww *pat-pat* Poor thing..! Don't cry, have a cookie.
Anyway, I was thinking about encraving also other things than tombstones, at least wooden objects. Actually everything could be encraved, the lenght of description and operation time depending on the object's size and material. So we could have named swords, bracelets with tribals and wooden bowls with nice decorations. Right now my artist charrie doesn't game technically have any chances to make art. She can write in her diary how much efford she put in decorating clogs, but to someone watching they would be just ordinary clogs. And her note drawings are copiable and made with nonexistant colors, though the color palette I'm using holds only colours that can be obtained from nature.
