What happened to Eric after Lake Village? Please?

Lots. He docked to a town and gathered barley there, not sure if he wanted to stay alive. Then someone came through town an older lady who had been travelling for many years and was on her way home. He asked if he could come with her as she was very kind to him. After a long drive they arrived in the town they were supposed to go to. He stayed there for years just helping out but things went badly there and he decided to leave. He ended up in another town and after being alone after his wife died, he had been alone after that for many years, but he got together with someone again. They were going to travel but had to wait for a trade for food and on his very good friend. And there he died. This is just a short version so not to reveal in game happenings nor names of chars around him and names of towns.
