IRC chat + forum account

hi there :) is the Cantr chat/Newnet down? i tried for 10min to connect but with no success :cry:

a friend of mine just registered on the forum but can't write posts or anything - does he need to get his forum account confirmed cos i can't remember? :roll:

with the link on the cantr-page I had problems to get to IRC today, too. I tried it afterwards successful with gogloom

Your friend needs to write on the new user forum to get full access to the normal forums.

you can't see it because you're not a new user ;-) For new users it's above all the other forums.

Yeah, it's only visible to new users and people who can moderate it.

I tried to use the irc client today but it didn't work. I thought it was just me. Apparently it isn't.

Also, irc.tobug.net (which it sometimes connects through) has been down. Not just for our irc link :D
