Thought or Rant of the day!!!

I had to go to a three-day evangelical event with my parents, = about 8 hours of sitting in a sweaty car, my mom complaining after the first 5 kilometers that she's going to die of heatstroke, then complaining about having to sit, about the breeze potentially stiffening her shoulders when the window was rolled down (we don't have airconditioning save for some vents). When we finally got to the destination about an hour late, we had to pick up Josh from the bus station since he came here from Oulu. He had to wait there a while, I'm not sure how long. We went to the hotel, but it turns out our reservation was never made, because my mom sent the hotel an email about a month ago, saying she wanted to reserve two rooms, they emailed back asking how many people and she said either 3 or 4 (since we didn't know if Josh would get his residence permit in time), they never replied to that. She assumed they were just rude and apparently it never crossed her mind that they might not have vacant rooms, due to there being two major religious events happening nearby. So when we got here, they quite apparently didn't have any two person rooms left, or one at most, since the person who came before us managed to book one. Although that was only for one night. But we'll be getting an apartment in a row house. The problem is that since they have so many guests, the cleanup crew has a long list of stuff to do and we're probably at the tail end of it. So we've been waiting here for almost 2 hours. Fortunately they have this computer in the lobby, so I'm quite happy, in spite of puking once on the way and thus having an irritated food pipe. When we had dinner, the milk for the dessert coffee had expired so it curdled a bit when I put it in my coffee. Not badly but I still had to tell a waitress so they wouldn't embarrass themselves in front of more customers. Now there is a band playing and my mom considers it just awful noise. She got earplugs but she's still going outside because she can't stand it.

And Josh was pissed because when he got to the bus station in Oulu, he was 40 minutes early so he decided to go for a pizza. They asked him how much time he had, he said 40 minutes and they said okay, but after 40 minutes they brought him the pizza on a plate instead of in a takeout box. So he asked if he could take it with him and they said okay, since the bus was about to leave right then. Instead of giving him a box, they gave him a piece of aluminum foil to wrap it in. In the end, it was too hot for him to carry so he had to throw it in the trash, and ended up paying 8 euros for just a coke or something. He says he's pissed but we were still able to laugh at it.

Edit: I can't believe no one's posted anything since I last checked. If I was home, I would've been hanging online through all that time. I think I'll only check a few times a day since I'm using dad's laptop now and the keyboard sucks, and the computer in the hotel lobby is very old, clunky small screen and a cpu that hums every once in a while like it was just about to die of a heat stroke. I wouldn't be surprised if it crashed some time. The temperature has been 32 C throughout most of the day.

So, after drawing circle fractals at 00:30, coming to bed at 01:00 something.... at 01:15-ish, I suddenly have an urge to draw a portrait. These don't come often, and I've had somebody in mind to draw for awhile....now it's 03:10, and I'm finished. Woohoo!

Why do these random drawing urges seem to come in the middle of the night?
I am going to be so tired in the morning.

Oh, and while I was drawing, the intestinal pain came back, sharp, front-ish, left side, right around the top of my pelvis. It's mostly gone now that I've shifted positions, though. I still might get it checked out though.
Grandparents coming over tomorrow, along with my uncle, and staying all week. Yay.

I don't know where else on the internet to say this..but yesterday I happened to go on Neopets again to find that it's my pet's 3000th day birthday. I also just found out that my original neopets account, joshua_monkey, which was hacked years ago, was deleted, along with the pet, and now there's a new joshua_monkey who isn't me. Neopets is the first site that I used the username Joshuamonkey (though with a _). The account I use now (and have for the past, like, 7 years) is yan_zi_cat, originally my sister's account. I do still go on every now and then, and have a decently large amount of neopoints..

I'm not rich enough for anybody to have interest in hacking my account. Not to mention I rarely use Neopets anymore, not even to check stocks or collect interest.

I should go play some more games there. Nothing's happening on Cantr.

Because of you, I logged into Neopets today for the first time in years. My pet is 4001 days old. I have had this account for 10 1/2 years. I have 300,000 NP in the bank, and Year Three Advent Calendar items in my inventory. I have equipment for the battledome totaling over 200,000 NP, including an Iron Lupe Sword and Bow of Vileness. My highest leveled pet is only level 27. The guild I was in expired due to inactivity.

Anyway, yeah.

Wait, stock. Let me find that.

I -had- 2k shares in a company that were worth 50k at one point, but now their market value is around 850 NP total.

Well, the reason they hacked my account wasn't because it was a good account, but because I was naive and 10 to 11 years old..My first account was when I was more active though, so it was hard to catch up with stats. My pet is level 41 now, with other combat stats 78-79. I started using stocks with 300k, and since I've been using it for years I've gotten to around 2.1 mil if you add stuff together. I thought I'd have more than that..maybe the price for the ylanas blaster went down. Oh, plus 441,000 worth of stocks.
As for guilds, I've been leading the LDS guild for some years, 3 or 4, though it's been deleted twice now, and the people went inactive. I made a setup that looks like Cantr II. http://www.neopets.com/guilds/guild.phtml?id=3974917
