Annoying parallels between Cantr and RL:

1. People complaining about it being too quiet. (This makes me want to slap coworkers because I NEED it quiet so I can get some damn work done!)

2. The nonsense blathering/whispering that doesn't directly concern you. You can ignore it but it still grabs enough of your attention to be bothersome.

3. Travel time. Would someone PLEASE hurry up and invent teleportation devices?

I already invented it...it's just in the shop right now.

I thought I had it all figured out. People are meant to handle a maximum of three major traumas in their lives. How they handle them is somewhat irrelevant. But that's enough for any one person to handle. After that, they should be safe for the rest of their lives. Then why is a fourth one breaking down my front door, maybe worse than all the other three combined? And when is it ok to say I quit?

It's never okay to say quit. But people will usually find the inner reserves to weather even the worst things in life.

This too shall pass, notsure.

I know it sounds cliche, but you are never given more in life than you can handle...you just have to look around and see what tools have been put in your path to use in your situation. Those tools can be people or resources (such as books or the internet etc.). You just have to recognize what's there and use it to help you get through it. Don't give up. You can make it.

Coming on to read that has already made my day 100x better :D

TOTD(2):

Some people don't have a clue as to the capacity others have to bring their whole world crashing down. The only thing protecting those who choose to remain clueless and continue pushing buttons that shouldn't be pushed is the other person being decent enough to not do such a thing. There are limits however, and if one decides to poke a bear and lives to tell about it, they should be smart enough to not do it again, they might not be so fortunate the second time.

Three major traumas.. Wouldn't that be nice.

Chin up, notsure. It's okay to say enough, and withdraw into whatever, but just remember that after that quit-recluse time, sooner or later you've gotta show your face again.

Withdrawing doesn't mean surrendering. Sometimes it's the only option to survive it. I've learnt this recently, and I've also learnt that you have to learn to live with those traumas, more than "dealing" with them.

Whatever it may be, notsure, hold on to the strength that resides within you. You can lose sight of it, but it's still there.

Only three?

I have no advice, so none of the following should be construed as such...others have given theirs and my own are my own, yours will be personal as well. The person who advised people and resources had it right. Pride makes us want to handle our tragedies alone. Pride hurts more than humility in the long run. Okay, thats all the cliche's I have.

It never ends, the types of tragedies just change. I am losing friends from high school now to cancer, alcoholism, car wrecks etc. I guess whatever I am going through is trivial. I am alive, in pain, but alive. There must be a reason...something left to do.

** If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.**

Find a way to turn tragedy glorious. There is one, there is always at least one. Always.

Be well fortified.

Notsure, to quote one of my beloved songs... "But I think you better check your leaving member contract: You don't get to say... You don't get to say goodbye."
Whatever it is, I hope you pull through it the best way possible.

Teach google translator how to speak lojban and I'll populate your city with stupid chars that speak half-logically, and cause a lot of drama!
