Back from the hospital, feeling much much better and hopefully at the end of this damn infection. I look like someone beat the hell out of me, and am so worn out but other than that, at least I'm feeling better!

House full of dozen 8 and 9 year old girls.

Wife at work with her end-of-school-year carnival.

Older boys helping her.

No help for me but 11yo.

Am definitely trying. This infection is just still hanging on and can't seem to kill it off. I have a couple days of feeling halfway decent before it starts acting up again and getting worse. Spent a few days in the hospital and I look like someone beat the hell out of me with all the bruises(mojo said it was her that did it too....) And now I'm back on pills, yet another antibiotic to try and fight this stuff. We'll see how long this round lasts before it either gets worse or finally starts getting better.

Started out as just a rash to the back of one of my thighs, it quickly spread to the other thigh and then down my entire legs. At first it started out as an apparent allergic reaction to who knows what (yet to be determined) and ended up with some sort of skin infection on top of that, and some sort of staph which they told me was mssa. They had me on several different antibiotics for two weeks trying to clear it up and eventually it got bad enough that I had a lot of pain and they ended up hospitalizing me last week. While I was on the IV antibiotics it was getting better, the day after I get off those and am home, It's started getting worse again. Currently they've got me on some stuff called Keflex for the next week hoping to kill it off completely but if it doesn't start clearing up again by tonight, I'll be back at the ER.
