Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Our lawn service put a rock through one of our windows...darn that was alot of glass. Everywhere and we never found the rock, just the little hole in the screen and the big hole in the glass. I guess this is what people who live next to golf courses go through. So it was an emergency as we have pets that could get out...losing snick (the cat) would be a family depression lasting years.
So I called a glass company that is two towns away (really about 15miles) and the owner of the company personally came out and fixed the window in less than an hour. Now that is service! That guy must have read Atlas Shrugged because he knew how to keep me on the phone and not looking for somebody else. He got the sale...oh we paid, but I am glad I can still get that kind of service. People who want my money can have it if they work for it...its a good verbal contract and both sides were happy with the result. Wealth of nations in action.
Now if I could find a service that would make snickie do her homework. That reminds me.
In the end, it was a bad day gone good.
So was that a rant or thought? or both? Maybe just propaganda.

Oh, expletive! Oh, expletive! Oh, expletive!
We did it!
We advanced!
I got a little freaked out when, continuing a serious discussion about zombie apocalypse with my sister, she mentioned she was on her way to the screening of the movie. I freaked out even more just now when my phone went off twice. We freaking moved on. Finals are on Monday night. Wish so hard I could be there but, wouldn't you know it, I'm working 5 days straight starting tomorrow night v.v
And, yes, I just had to go back and edit myself because I actually said a bad word there xD

The thought of eating sushi would make me lose three pounds.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I had eight pieces of tuna sashimi, one piece of tuna sushi, four pieces of flyingfish roe sushi, two pieces of eel sushi, one piece of red snapper sushi, ttwo pieces of salmon sushi, six pieces of meow roll, seven pieces of lover's roll, one piece of shrimp tempura roll, one piece of krabmeat sushi two loads of pickled ginger, and about a quarter cup of soy sauce (and not the sodium-free stuff). All, of course, with a cup of miso soup, a cup of salad with delicious ginger dressing, a cup of green tea, and a full glass of water. As if I wasn't retaining enough water already. xD
I gained three pounds from it. How much have you all lost just from reading my list?

*drools* Damnit, now I really want sushi and miso soup. I don't even like salad dressing or ginger all that much, but I dig that ginger dressing they use.

Sound wonderful, Snickie! I love sushi, but I can't eat it very often because it makes me really sick when I do. I'm thinking hibachi this weekend though, and then I can at least look at all the beautiful sushi. Also, meow roll is probably amazing.

I just had to go get sushi... But I'm feeling better and in a better mood now. I love how food can have that effect. Not to mention wasabi is good for clearing your head. I totally could've eaten another order or two, though. I'd be in so much trouble if we had a sushi buffet here.

I tried to avoid the wasabi as much as possible. I don't like the feeling of your mouth being on fire whenever you eat it, and that's part of the reason I ate so much ginger last night.

I'm cooking a cheesecake with berries right now. Cooking helps me to get rid of my frustrations, and I always end up giving what I cook to someone else, so...

I usually don't eat wasabi, but did for the sole purpose of clearing my head. I felt bad because I asked for their mayo sauce and she brought me spicy mayo. I apologized for not specifying that I didn't want it spicy and asked her to get me nonspicy instead....then I go and eat wasabi.
Indigo, I'm so there for cheesecake!
