LOVE beer bread. I mean, seriously... Beer is awesome. Bread is awesome. Combined?? 8) Even better that it's so easy to make.

Had a great day yesterday. Went to see Jersey Boys with my sister then a friend met us to have dinner at an amazing Sicilian restaurant. Got to see my nephew even if it was only for a very short time.

That is basically what I said...among some other colorful phrases among the last couple days. I am glad I run temp monitors, otherwise I wouldn't have known about the problem until it could have done some serious damage (the heat part, not the bent pins). They were peaking mid 70's just for starting a game, idling at upper 50's. As I am typing this, my new six core is running at 25 degrees :)

I have to say that it was frustrating that the location I bought the Mobo from (a couple months ago) AND the processor from (two days ago) as well as pretty much all my equipment, that they couldn't swap the CPU's out, flash the board and put the six core back in. Now I have a processor just sitting here doing nothing lol. (frustrating but understandable, as flashing BIOS is quite...ugh)

The pains went away for a few days (hence why I stopped ranting about them).

But today, while I was driving on a major highway, it suddenly felt like somebody was shoving a small, smooth rectangular mirror (1.5x2in dimensions, an eighth of an inch thick (my over-precise details cracks both me and my parents up)) into my right side, below the top of my pelvis, along with a general sensation of heat throughout that area, almost like menstrual cramps but not quite. It didn't affect my driving, but I started scoping out places to pull over if I needed to, until we got to the place where OBT merges in. I forgot about the pain and the pull-over things then, because we needed to merge, and I was still trying to process my mom's frantic "Speed up! Slow down! Speed up! Slow down!" in constant subsequent succession so that either one I would do was right yet wrong. (Makes perfect sense, I know.)
Obviously, I didn't tell my mom.

Right now I'm sitting on the couch, and the pain is back, very mild, not too unlike menstrual cramps, but only on the right side. Actually, it feels like somebody has their fingers pressing into the side and squeezing lightly. Also, oddly enough, I had my feet up for a few minutes a few minutes ago, and I could feel random, mild shoots of pain going halfway down the top of my right thigh.

Maybe there really is something wrong with me.

Oh, and I found out something else. The common factor between those weird stomachaches I'd get immediately after eating cafeteria lunches and the one I had after breakfast on Thursday was....bananas. (Milk was also a common factor, but it never gave me that problem before.) Weird, right? I'd been eating bananas at school because I don't eat the healthiest (healthier than a lot of teens I know though) and decided to eat them when they were offered, and I ate the one on Thursday morning because I had an AP exam that day and potassium apparently helps with that. But anyways. The how is solved, now I want to know why. Why did the bananas give me stomachaches?

If it is diverticulitis, the small seeds in the banana may be to blame. However, that shouldn't affect you until the seeds make it to your intestines, so hardly immediate.

Not to mention that diverticulitis usually doesn't strike people until they're in their forties, and I'm hardly sixteen. Some of the symptoms match, though, which is weird to me.

I've told one of my trustworthy friends at school, about the symptoms, what people thought/think it is (except for the gallbladder hypothesis), and all that jazz (except for the bananas thing; I came to that conclusion this afternoon). She told me that it couldn't be diverticulitis because of the age thing and not appendicitis because if it were I'd be doubling over in pain screaming whatever. Ummm thanks for your input.

Funny that doctors go through all that schooling to diagnose people, but you want to wait until you've diagnosed it yourself to go... :P Can't your dad get you in to see a doc without your mom's knowledge?

So I'm in the house in Oz, and it's awesome - but here I am cleaning up and sticking dishes in the washer, tralalala. Only nobody told me the dishwasher doesn't work so hot, so about thirty minutes later I hear this REEREEREEREE noise and wander out into the kitchen and stop and sort of go - oh, hey, where did the floor go? There's about a foot of dish soap bubbles covering the entire tile floor, and the dishwasher is beeping frantically at me.

Well, considering that dishwasher detergent doesn't sud, that might be your problem right there (did you use regular dish soap?).

It'd show up on our insurance (unless we paid cash, but we have to have proof of insurance I believe), plus my mom calls at random intervals throughout the day and freaks out if we don't answer, and if she calls the cell phone and finds out I'm at the doctor, she'll freak out even more.
Also, I don't want to go and be blown off because it's actually nothing important. I want to make sure it's actually serious before I go and waste their time. (Of course, by then, if it is serious it'll probably be too late).

So in all reality, it boils down to I really don't want to go to the doctor because I'm too stubborn.

This is probably going to get me killed one day.

Oh god. I have this man I go to see for work who chews gum. But he doesn't chew it quietly, it's like this loud sucking/smacking sound, and his teeth chomp everytime he chews. I mentally scream!!! I like RANT in my head like "SPIT IT OUT. SPIT IT OUT. LIGHT A CIGARETTE. SPIT THE FUCKING GUM OUT!!!"
