In the Quillanoi prison, my character has attempted 3 separate attacks on the same character with the same bone spear, and has dealt 0 damage each time.

You hurt a man in his twenties using a bone spear, who loses 0 percent strength.

If he had a shield, my understanding is that I would've been informed. I also successfully hit the same character for 7 damage with my bone knife. My character is likely to lose this fight (a bone spear duel with no shields) despite having attacked 4 times to the opponent's 2.

His health is high (about 70%) and was higher for two of the bone spear attacks.

Either your not hitting him full strength or he has a shield, if he has a shield You are Not told that he has one if his shield blocks your attack.

Yeah and you probably just got lucky with the one knife strike and you hit through his shield.
