So you mean: "lets get rid of the potato harvster, carrot harvester, etc"?
Why not remove all the drills and digging machines?

Mystic is right. Every "Ready to eat" resource, like potatoes, carrots etc. has a harvester. So why not rice? Seems to me this is not being left out witgh a purpose but more likely has been forgotten.

Not that I want to see it implemented thoug. My farmer takes care of any rice shortage that might ever exist, and business has been real slow for a long time even though his rice was really cheap.

Same goes for the potatoes. With a dung fork you can collect 1600 grams. So why would there be a harvester for that then?

Also I don't understand why you want to make the eating of rice to be harder... then the same should be implemented to all other food. Like potatoes of which you eat 100 grams per day. Even more then rice...
Only carrots and asparagus would be logical to eat raw. But I think the current food-system is good (enough). If making food would be so much harder, then a lot of people would starve especially in the new areas or new pple.

I never noticed the scythe before. Is it new?

I guess a rice harvester will never be implemented. Not really fair though, but such is life

Speaking about my (useless) suggestions, I got another one similar to this topic.

There are all sorts of digging machines or drills to collect more resources faster like a coal drill or hematitie drill, but I wonder how come there isn't a machine yet to collect wood faster? I assume a chain saw would be an excellent tool...

The axes alone don't have the capacity of a machine so a chainsaw would be a real improvement in collecting wood.
I also noticed that theres a wood saw but I don't think it improves the wood collecting since it isn't mentioned on the "wood collect menu", or is that supposed to be a wood collect tool?

I know, this idea will probably be discussed before are nobody likes it. But it is a free country with liberty to speak, or in this case, to chat

Wood's very valuable, and an axe is quick enough, i'd say.

The harvester is fairly far along in the process from its idea to its implementation in the game :P But yeah, it was still a useless suggestion

You could say the same with the old iron drills. Now hematite drills, but still.. iron is more valuable then wood especially now...

You are, we don't even have to pinch you to tell you that. If anyone ever says something good about you or something you have done, you know your dreaming.
